How do I get the fan to work using the remote ? All buttons (even the fan buttons) only operate the light, and only the upper light at that. Battery was low. Thought that was the issue, replaced with

First of all, that's a low-end fan made for Home Depot only! Did the remote come with the fan or was it an add-on remote. If there are any pull chains on the fan & light, then it was an add-on remote. If there is a reverse switch on the fan, then the reverse on the remote transmitter will not work. Probably need a new receiver.

Transmission/electrical issue?

You think it is in park but it read reverse because it didn't move With electronic transmissions you have to run the fault codes to find what is happening. Unless it is in park or neutral then nothing concerning the starter will work. If the TCM is faulty then servos/solenoids are not working and there will be no clutch pack or band operation and it will appear in park. Even the torque converter clutch will not be working and you will get nothing in the transmission.

I have a yamaha 350 big bear i can not get the electric start to work, battery 12.50 it will not jump start,it will start by the pull rope.the battery fell out of back i had to put new wire ,but I'm...

Suggestion would be to go on line to Yamaha's site and download the manual. They have an excellent site and even legacy manuals for everything the make.
Sounds like you missed a connection of the starter wire or it's ground. There might also be a solenoid that the connections got reversed when you reconnected the battery and/or its related wires. Something is either not connected to the power side of the battery or something is reversed.
Best wishes,

Depending on where you got the batteries from, you may want to replace those, even though they are new ones. Sometimes, certain batteries do not perform as well as others. If you bought the batters at a dollar store or bargain store, check the batteries first. Then second, look inside the battery compartment for loose parts, missing parts, or corrosion.

1998 Honda Goldwing will not start nothing.

Sort of sounds like a Twilight Zone kind of problem doesn't it. I would have the battery checked for an internal dead short. This is something that happens on odd occasions and can happen even to a new battery. Yea, the little lights will work ( they do not draw much juice ), but the starter motor draws a lot of juice and a shorted battery just ain't got it. Also check the wiring harness connections. One loose connection can cause bunches of trouble.

Battery Life Very Low

totally discharge the batteries [by putting them in a torch to tun them right down] the rechagre them fully, If this does not improvethings = the repair djop but be warned it can be pricey - almost new camera time perhaps.
