Constantly aligning printheads

    My hp officejet 9130 is constantly aligning printheads everytime I plug it in

    I turned off HP OFJ 9130, removed all the printheads and the cartridges & then On, No Worked..... i didn`t find solution

I updated the HP 9130 firmware and encountered the same problem. I turned off the printer, removed all the printheads and the cartridges, closed the printer cover and then turned on the printer again. After seeing an error message on the printer screen concerning the missing printheads, I opened the printer cover, replaced all of the missing printheads and the missing cartridges and then closed the cover. The printer then aligned printheads once as is expected after replacing the printhead and cartridges. Thereafter, it worked normally. I do not know why this procedure worked and if it will work in every case, but for now, it seems to have worked for me.

In hp officejet pro k5400 printer i can't get color print after giving any print...i've installed new ink cartridge also but still i can't get color print....


Try Cleaning the Cartridges manually and automatically.
For the cartridge clean it with a damp lint free cloth and also for the printheads wher eyour gonna be inserting the cartridges.
Follow these steps do do the automatic aligning and cleaning:
Click Start and then go to Printers and Faxes (XP), Printers(Vista), Devices and Printers(Win 7)
1. Right Click on your printer Icon 2. Go to Printing Preferences 3. Click the Features Tab 4. At the bottom of the window you will see Printer Services or Device Services. Click on it. 5. Choose Align Printheads on the list.

For Cleaning the Printheads, Instead of choosing Align Printer choose Clean Printheads.

Hp officejet 9130 keeps giving me a paper stall message. Paper keeps jamming


I am having the same problem and can tell you that it is NOT related to the paper roller assembly. I purchased a new OEM part and replaced them.

Some of the prined lines are being cut off at the bottom


Try to realign the printhead.
  1. Make sure the printer is loaded with unused white paper.
  2. Open the printer Toolbox , and select the Printer Services tab.
  3. Click Align Printheads . The Align Printheads window opens. Click Align .
  4. The printer prints an alignment page. The lines in the patterns should appear to be straight. Click OK when the page finishes printing.
If that does not work you can try changing the ink cartridges and repeat the align process

My printer stood unused for about 8 months. Then


Remove all the cartridges from the printer and check for expiration date on the cartridges, if the cartridges are expired, you need to replace them with HP genuine, use of refilled one's cause many issues.The cartridge that is compatible with this printer is HP 14 black and HP 14 tricolor.
To align the printheads at any other time:
  1. Press Menu .
  2. Press 7 , then 3 . (For the HP Officejet D 125xi press 3 , then 3 again)A page prints to confirm printhead alignment.

Hi,

On the control panel, press MENU.

Press (up) or (down) to move to the item you want, and then press (select).

Go to maintainance.

Press - or + to select the value that you want, and then press (select) to save the setting.

If there is no - or + around the setting, the setting cannot be changed.

on the maintainance tab is,
clean heads, align, calibrate, etc..

Aligning printer heads


Same problem with my printer, called tech guy charged 100 bucks for nothing. Actually changed the cartridges. All cartridges have to be new and check the date on the cartridges, if installing 2006 cartridges, just use all of the same date , if using 2007 just use that date. It should work fine after that.
