How ia can fix this error? "windows can not be instaled on this disk

The disk may be already formatted in Fat32. This is an older disk format used only for interchanging data. Eg Mac to PC.
Check the contents of the disk. Backup if needed.
Reformat Hard Disk (Fdisk) in NTFS format as required for Windows. Then try install.

Msdc secter error in my sd card

Have you already copied the data off of the SD card? If so, then try to reformat the card (and uncheck the quick format checkbox if you are on Windows). You can also try to reformat the card in your camera. If the format is successful, copy a bunch of random files to the card to fill it up and then copy them off back to your computer, watching for the error. If there is no error then the card should be fine. If this does not fix it then your card has a physical problem and needs to be replaced. If you do not have all the data off of your card already, then you may need to use software such as "CardRecovery" to get the data off (hopefully all of it).

How can i reformat my ipod?

Hello there!

Just follow these simple and easy steps:

1. Connect your iPod to your PC or laptop using the connector cable. If iTunes does not launch automatically, just click the icon and open it. Wait for iTunes to recognize your iPod.
2. Highlight the iPod, identified by name, in the "Devices" section in the left sidebar. Note the format of the iPod. If the format is the desired format, you need not take any further actions.
3. Press the "Restore" button in order to reformat the iPod. You will be warned that this process will erase all the data such songs, videos, and other media on the iPod. If you're sure you want to proceed, click "Restore" again.
4. Copy media files back to your reformatted iPod and change any other settings that were erased during the restore process. If desired, sync your iPod.

My cell phone micro sd card says memory card has an unrecognized format and that reformatting will erase the data what do i do and how do i reformat and not lose the data i don't know how to reformat

Do you have a memory card reader for your PC, try to borrow one from a friend and check if you can read data off the card. If you can then make a backup of the data and then format the card to FAT32 as i think you have formatted the card to NTFS which is a file system native to windows and will not work with mobile phones. The best option would be to format the card on the phone itself after data backup as it will assure compatibility with itself.

How can I format my Screenplay Director?

Formatting the Data Partition

The data partition on the ScreenPlay Director is formatted with an NTFS file system and will appear as a read-only volume under Mac OS X unless special software is installed on the Mac. If you need to transfer files to the ScreenPlay Director by direct USB connection on a Mac, you must reformat the data partition to FAT32 (see instructions below).

NOTE: On a network connection, Mac OS will see the ScreenPlay Director as a shared SMB volume. This means you can use the network to copy files from a Mac to the ScreenPlay Director without changing the format from NTFS to FAT32. (Recommended if available.)

If you reformat the ScreenPlay Director data partition for use with a Windows PC, it is recommended that you use the Windows format utility to reformat with NTFS. Right click on the drive letter for the data partition and select Format.

CAUTION!

  • Do NOT change the partitioning on the ScreenPlay Director as this will remove the firmware that enables the ScreenPlay Director to communicate with your TV set. Only media files stored on the active data partition can be viewed or played on a TV.

  • Formatting the data partition will erase all existing data! If you have files on the ScreenPlay Director you want to save, move them to another drive or volume before reformatting.

Maxtor harddisc wnat to format error

If any of you still have these monitors, and wish to sell them, i am interested in finding some to use as spare parts if i can’t get them working. send email to elah4@zoominternet.net.
I have two of these that i have already repaired successfully.
Or if you would like to have me repair for you.

there is software to retrieve data from hard drives that have lost the table of contents because of power failure during a wright session, which usually causes this to happen. get the software and learn how to use it before doing anything else to the drive, any formatting or weighting to the drive will cause less chance to retrieve your data from the drive.

i have successfully done this on several external drives of my own. and just tor the fun of it i did a reformat and then by the use of software retrieved the data again afterwards, much to my surprise
you will need a extra drive wit space for the retreved data during this process. then you can transfer data back to original drive to use again.

If you have a boot disk/cd, you can do a format of the hard disk. This will erase all data. You will, of course, have to reinstall the OS again..
