Reformat your Hard-Disk using your genuine CD and install Windows again still using your own genuine CD.
Just follow these simple steps:
1. Inset your CD in the CD drive
2. Restart your computer
3. As the PC is yet to load windows, follow the instructions on your screen.
4. Load Bios by just pressing either F2 or delete (depending on *********** Board)
5. In Bios, look for Boot Priority and select "Boot from CD as your first priority".
6. Save changes and restart the computer.
7. While booting, follow the instructions on the screen and be first till the end.
Good Luck!

Can i remove a pirate copy of windows 7 and replace it with my genuine copy of windows xp

Hello,
you would need to insert to XP disc in the cd drive and reboot the pc. As the pc reboot whatch for "Press any key to boot from disk". This will make the pc bypass the hard drive and load the boot file from the XP disk. Once you have answered the inital start questions, it will give the option to format the hard drive or create an extended drive. If Win 7 is not needed any more, I strongly suggest doing the format and have a fresh, new install of XP, Genuine copy.

Good luck.

Restore to original factory setting

Your computer may have a recovery partition set. Try pressing the Alt & F10 keys during the boot process (during the initial Pre windows black screen stage of the startup process) to obtain the "Boot Menu" and then select "Recovery" (Or similar wording) at the prompt. IMPORTANT: You should be aware that, if you select recovery either from a boot partition or from a recovery CD, that you may lose ALL data on your hard drive during the recovery process. If you are unsure what to do and you have important data on your hard drive that you don't want to lose, then I'd suggest you get a qualified technician to recover your system - if you advise that you have data, they will always try and rescue your stuff before repairing your OS.

Ntldr is missing on my sylvania g-netbook.I do not have BIOS password to re-setup OC(Windows XP).Can you help me

NTLDR is short for NT loader - a program loaded from the hard drive boot sector that displays the Microsoft Windows NT startup menu and helps Microsoft Windows NT load. So when it goes missing for some reason, your windows cannot load.It may be caused by windows trying to boot from a different media than C:. ensure that there is no removable disks before you proceed.
  1. Insert the Windows XP bootable CD into the computer.
  2. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press any key.
  3. Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows.
  4. Log into your Windows installation by pressing the "1" key and pressing enter.
  5. You will then be prompted for your administrator password, enter that password.
  6. Copy the below two files to the root directory of the primary hard disk. In the below example we are copying these files from the CD-ROM drive letter.I have use "e:" here. This letter may be different on your computer.

    copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
    copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
  7. Once both of these files have been successfully copied, remove the CD from the computer and reboot.

My computer was formatted by a technician who used a pirated copy of windows XP2. I have been sent message by microsoft that the XP2 is not genuine. how can install my genuine XP2 without losing my files?

If the version of XP you have is the same as the one that is now installed, you can do a repair installation. This essentially reinstalls Windows without deleting your user files. During the installation you'll be prompted to enter the product key, so you can use the one from your genuine copy. It's still a good idea to back up your data first, though.

Boot from your Windows XP CD and start the installation. One of the options that will be available is to repair a current installation. Select that to begin the process.

Another option is to purchase a new hard drive. They aren't expensive. Install that as the primary drive in your computer and make the current one a slave, and do a fresh installation of XP on the new drive. Then you can reinstall your applications, move your data over from the other drive (or leave it there), and you'll have the extra drive for added storage space. If the XP version the tech installed is not the same as the genuine copy you have, you will need to do a fresh installation in any case, as the product key from your copy would most likely not be valid for the one he put on.

I would suggest not going back to that same technician in the future. Guys like that give us ethical technicians a black eye.

NTLDR is not loading?? How do I recover this file

Dear Sir,

plz folow this step to fix your probelm,

series of questions that appear over and over again. So is the case with the “NTDR is missing” when the user attempts to boot their system. Below are some ways to fix or repair the problem so your system should boot up properly.
  1. This is the first thing to look at. Is your system trying to boot from a CD or floppy disk that is non-bootable? Remove the CD or floppy and try again.
  2. Have you added a new hard disk with another copy of Windows installed on the new disk? Have you confirmed that the drives are set properly as Master and Slave?
  3. If steps 1 and 2 do not apply, then it is time to pull out the big guns. Follow steps 4 through 10.
  4. Insert the Windows XP bootable CD into the computer.
  5. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press any key.
  6. Once in the Windows XP setup menu, press the “R” key to repair Windows.
  7. Log into your Windows installation by pressing the “1′ key and pressing enter.
  8. You will then be prompted for your administrator password; enter that password.
  9. Copy the below two files to the root directory of the primary hard disk. In the below example we are copying these files from the CD-ROM drive letter “E.” This letter may be different on your computer.
    copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
    copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
  10. Once both of these files have been successfully copied, remove the CD from the computer and reboot.

Thanks For Your Time,
