I can not get the web cam to work

Instructions1 Take pictures independent of communications software on the Windows version of the netbook by using the webcam without connecting to networking software. Click the "Windows Start" menu and click "Acer Crystal Eye Webcam" in the Programs list. The webcam application should open and the camera should produce an initial warmup image. Use the buttons on the control panel to adjust image size or take photos.
2 Use the Instant Messenger program on the Acer Linux-based laptop or netbook to work the webcam. The Acer Instant Messenger program is available in the Connect folder on the Acer laptop's desktop screen.
3 To send and receive live video and pictures using your webcam on an Acer laptop, work the webcam through individual communications software, including Skype, Windows Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, or Google Video Chat. Open your selected communications software program and click the webcam button to work your webcam.

How to install

Make sure that your video camera is disconnected from the computer. Insert the CD and install the software. When the install asks you to connect the camera, plug into the USB and finish the installation. To use it you will have to have Skype or one of the messenger programs installed on your computer. Hope this is of some help. Bud

I suggest you put what you're looking for in Google, I had a look for the driver but I don't know who the manufacturer is as I don't actually have one of these webcams. Sorry I can't help further but please rate if at all useful, thanks!
