I guess you mean that once the SIM card is inserted, the phone will give you a no sim card display. I'm just trying to guess since this is just a very basic question with no details at all.
Please do try another SIM card from another carrier, to see if the problem is the SIM card. If no SIM card works, and your device is under warranty, then I suggest that you get in touch with the seller and use the warranty.
You can insert any sim card into the sim slot, it does not have to be active. You can then load your iPhone and remove or keep the blank sim card in place.

get an sim adapter for the sd card for your computer they are cheap to buy.
connect cable to your simban 100 an copy what you want off of it too.
now put all you want on the sim connected to your computer with sim adapter.
when finished you now have any apps you want on the card. generally.

As far as I am aware, the SIM slot is for storing secure data onto. Win7 has a very good encryption programme and requires either and external drive or SIM card to load it to.
This means that the BB can't see the Sim Card. The little sim card is underneath the battery - check and make sure that that the gold part of the sim card is touching the gold parts of the BB. Also make sure the gate is locked in place, it slides to the right when locked. (Slide it to the left to unlock and lift the SIM card gate.)
