Install speedfan to check rpm of the fan in question. It might be running but slowing down as it heats up. http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

My pc unexpectedly shut down.i feel problem seems to be motherboard display.how can i repair motherboard display problem

When the CPU in the computer or laptopoverheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot upagain until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then theCPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes this problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged withdust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use acan of compressed air to do this.

you have not stated what is not working so i have to guess you need an overhaul

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive or
control panel administrive tools, computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart
then defragment your hard drive

hope this helps

No boot and CPU overheat warning siren. The CPU fan appears to be working. This old computer was recently packed up and moved, but booted once after the move.

Although the cpu fan may be working, the alarms are set to a temperature setting, so if the heat-sink that the fan is mounted gets clogged with dust ,dirt hair etc.. the processor temp rises and the alarm goes off. And in some cases if the user doesn't shut it down within a certain time period it is shut down automatically.
When you boot it up, the temp might be rising to that setting faster than the operting system can load.
Try a vac to clean it / or compressed air to blow it out

Pc shut down. when resterted no graphics or

Hello

Regarding with this problem, when computer which is shutting down. It is the processor problem they can not reach the temperature. Be sure that the CPU fan is spinning so that it will control the CPU temperature. If the fan is not spinning it will cause overheating. Try to disassemble the unit specifically the CPU. Clean your unit remove the dust, when you assemble back your unit make sure that you will put a thermal paste between the CPU and the CPU heat sink so that the of the CPU will absorbed by the heat sink.

Good luck!

My ASUS P5SD2-VM Is Having A No Display Problem

Make sure you disabled th eonboard video card. Some boards do it for you automatically when you install a new one and others you must remove or switch a jumper pin on the motherboard. Consult your manual for the jumper location. Sometimes you have to use the default card and go into the bios set up and disable it in there, shut down the system install the card then restart using the new card. Make sure you use the first available PCI-e slot closest to the CPU and you should be all set.If not your card may be bad.
