The reel sensor is the problem of your camera...in my job as a technician i always encounter that..it is a poor connection of the sensor to the mainboard..try to clean the contact using only a pencil eraser..

the error is related to S REEL TABLE , which usually ocuurs due the amount of tension with
new tape , u can't solve this problem ur own .. u need to take it to the service centre as they will

A Error code C:31:40


Hi,
Please see the detail below for the said error code C:31:40eb129ed.jpg
According to the symptom this show that there are two faults
1- Mechanical adjustment is out.
2- Head is durty.

Solution:
1- Mechanical adjustment is required of tape loading section.
2- Need head cleaning.
Please contact any expert nearby to yoy to fix the problem, because mechanical adjustment is not an easy task that's why prefer repair man.

Der Videotyp is not PAL - code 442-E-100


install the software in ntsc mode...it was my solution

hi i have the sony DCR-PC53E camcorder with the error code E:61:10 does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem any help will be more than appreciated

Sony camcorders C:31:23 error
Take the battery out and turn selection switch to camera and then turn it off. Put the battery back in and its working again.
if that doesn't work try
Try smacking the side of the camera relatively hard with the palm of your hand. Eject the tape and reinsert. You may need to do this a couple of times.

Disc Error


If you don't mind paying out some money, data recovery experts can possibly retrieve the data. You may want to try doing it yourself though because at least you know you won't damage the actual disk. Who knows what will happen to it after it has left your possesion.
