Question about PANDIGITAL 7-Inch Digital Photo Frame with 2 Interchangeable Frames (DPF701) Digital Picture Frame

1 Answer

Trying to upload 700 pics on my pandigital pic frame and I get an error that says something about volumes. I've deleted as many pics as possible but the frame should hold up to 6400 pics. What's the problem?

The internal memory of these devices is 512 mb, but if you add a memory stick, card, etc., you should have the memory to handle it. Not having experience with one of these devices, I'm guessing the internal memory is filling up. Hope this helps...

Pc connection established remote is temporarily inoperative

this is not a problem!;this always appears when you connect the USB cable to the PC and the frame. What you do next is ignore the frame and concentrate on the pc: go to the file where you have your pics stored, RIGHT click on the folder or pics you want to load and hit SEND TO ,in this case send to the Pandigital drive connection .Play with this with a couple of photos, check your frame to make sure they loaded and if ok then load all you want!

How do i put music on my frame? i bought my frame from a flea market without software

When connected to a PC, the frame should appear as a removable drive named "Pandigital". You can simply copy and paste music to the root of this drive (no folders). No software necessary. The music must be mp3 format (so no iTunes).

Problem with the photo frames

This is likely to be a problem with PlayStation Home itself. Try uploading different photos and see if you get the same problem. Otherwise, you should report this issue to Sony so they can release a fix.

I just recieved a pandigital photo frame. I loaded thier cd, installed the softwareThis went O.K. When I try to run the software I get the message "can't get files" What should I do?

I don't know if you can use this as a workaround just so you can get to using your new frame until you figure out the software program. Most of the frames have a slot for a memory card so you can choose to load pics directly into the frame itself with software and cords attaching the frame to the computer OR pop in a memory card and let it read from the card instead. My understanding is some frames do not take a card larger than 2gb so peek at your manual for that. I have a few cards dedicated to my frame(s). I move the pics from the camera card to the computer then choose the ones I want to move to the card for the frame. Of course only the best shots go there so people think I'm a good photographer :-) he he. Hope this gets you looking at your pics. Nothing like having a new present you can't use.

SEQUENCING PICTURES IN BUILT-IN MEMORY

The DPF-80 has now way to sequence pics. The only way for them to play in an order is add them one at a time to the frame via the computer. The files can not be batch sent, such as sending a whole folder at one time. Windows will dictate the order in which they are transfered if you do it that way. Transfer one pic at a time. Tedious, but it works

Unable to operate remote of Pandigital picture frame

remove the memory card and see if the remote works wit hthe built in memory pics. if it doesnt pic up your card you will just have to try another card. The frames dont read cards larger than 1 Gb very well either - reguardless of how many pics are on the card.
