Question about Canon Pixma MP500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
1 day when my wife was printing (or copying) on our Canon MP500, a piece of foam came out, along w/ the paper. the foam is a narrow strip, w/ a series of cut-outs on one side of it, is gray, and about 9" long, and 3/16"
thick. The printer still works. Do you know where it came from? Can i put it back? Is it needed?
The foam was likely used for sound or to reduce the range of motion while in transit. If you are concerned, you could post a photograph of the area where the printer heads move across and a photograph of the foam.
How long have you had the printer?
