Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the clean light flashes, pauses, and then repeats. When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash

-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Midea dishwasher control panel flashes "Delicate", often including ding alarm

If turning off the power for an extended period of time did not fix the issue, it's possible that the problem is with the dishwasher's control board or sensor. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the water supply: Make sure that the dishwasher is getting a sufficient supply of water. If the water supply is interrupted or low, it can cause the delicate light to flash.
  2. Check the filter: Make sure that the dishwasher's filter is clean and not clogged. A clogged filter can also cause the delicate light to flash.
  3. Check the float switch: The float switch is a safety device that detects when the dishwasher is overfilled with water. If the switch is stuck in the up position, it can cause the delicate light to flash. You can try to locate the float switch and gently move it up and down to see if it helps.
  4. Check the door latch: If the dishwasher's door latch is not properly engaged, it can cause the delicate light to flash. Make sure the door is closed and latched securely.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be an issue with the dishwasher's control board or sensor. In this case, it may be best to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

Kenmore Dishwasher 665 16059401 - Control lights flashing Not working

Hi Have you tried resetting your house breaker to your dishwasher, by turning it off for 60 secs. then back on again? this should reset your dishwasher. By Start can you hear the pump out. or can you hear water filling the dishwasher?..if it only pumps out..it may be the Overfill protector. Check to make sure the overfill protector moves up and down freely. The overfill protector is located in the left front corner of the tub it looks like a little hat. it should move up and down easily. and you should feel/hear a click that is your float switch. also check the Door latch. Open and close the door to make sure the door latch is securely fastened. Next you may take off the console, and reset that control board to keypad console connector , by taking that loose and reconnect it. If that doesn't work, then you may need a new keypad console assembly. let me know what you are doing to do? I can help you somemore.

Door is leaking

The first thing I would check is the overfill protection float. Check under the float for objects that may keep the protector from moving up or down.

The clean button blinks. the only button that works is the drain button.

Hello

Confirm that the door is closed and latched. dishwashers can detect if the door is open and will cancel any cleaning cycles to prevent water spillage. Wait for around 20 minutes before unplugging or moving the dishwasher in case the washer is cooling down, draining or drying dishes. Call a technician if the dryer does not restart.

Verify that a cycle has been selected using the "Cycles" button and that the "Start/Resume" button has been pressed. Unlike some models of dishwasher, appliances won't start until you select a cleaning cycle and press the "Start/Resume" button.

Confirm that the dishwasher's electrical outlet is switched on, if necessary, and that power is being supplied by plugging in a lamp. You may need to replace a fuse or reset a breaker on the electrical circuit if the lamp will not work in the outlet. Ensure that the dishwasher is plugged into the outlet.

Ensure that the water shutoff valves at the wall are open and that the supply hoses are free of kinks. Your washer will not start if it is unable to access the water supply. Most shutoff valves need to be turned clockwise or moved to the "Open" position to work properly.

Open the door and check the overfill float in the bottom of the dishwasher. Push it down to make sure it can move up and down freely. The machine will not start if the sensor is stuck at the top. The overfill float looks like a small cone on top of a disc with a paddle attached to the side.

To whom it may concern, I have a kenmore Elite dish washer. I have a gree light ( Clean ) flaching and it do not work when programming for washing. Can you help? What shuold I do ? Regards ! Michel S.

On the Kenmore 1312 dishwasher, the Clean light will flash with the following problems: a problem with the Overfill Protection Float, no water coming into the dishwasher, or suds/foam in the unit.

First check the float and see if it will move up and down freely. Push it down to release it. This float is at the front right of the dishwasher.

Next make sure that the water valve to the dishwasher is open and you have incoming water pressure. (If the water is blocked at the valve, the inlet valve can be replaced, if needed.)

Finally look to see if there are suds at the bottom of the washer. Check that the rinse aid compartment cover is secure. The arrow should point to Lock. Use dishwasher detergent in the correct amounts (see the package label). Using the wrong type of detergent or too much can cause the problem.

Most Kenmore appliance manuals are available from Manage My Life. Searching for your model will also give you a link to the matching parts diagram and ordering information from Sears Parts Direct. See http://www.managemylife.com/mmh/owner_manuals?intcmpMMHxG_HomexServices_Menu to search for your model. The model number is usually on the frame inside the door of the dishwasher.

I hope this helps.

Dishwasher control light blinking

1 Press down the overfill protection float on the floor of the dishwasher's tub in the right, front corner near the door. If it cannot move up and down freely, the "clean" light will flash.
2 Make sure the dishwasher's water supply is turned on.
3 Look for suds on the inside of the dishwasher and wipe them off with a wet cloth. If the washer's sensor detects suds or foam, it may not run. Use the correct amount of dishwasher soap, not hand soap or detergent for washing dishes in the sink, to ensure suds and foam do not form. Also, make sure the cap on the rinse aid dispenser is secure--this will keep suds and foam from forming as well.
4 Close the dishwasher door. Push the "normal wash" button, then push the "heated dry" button. Push the "normal wash" button again, and push the "heated dry" button again.
5 Watch for all of the lights on your Kenmore dishwasher's panel to turn on and then turn off. The washer may start a new wash cycle at this point; if you do not want it to do so, press the "cancel" button. Otherwise, allow the dishwasher to run through this cycle.

"clean" light is blinking

Check the following:
1. Is the overfill protection float able to move up and down
freely? Press down to release.
2. Be sure the water supply is turned on to the dishwasher.

3. Check for suds in the dishwasher. If foam or suds are
detected by the dishwasher sensing system, the
dishwasher may not operate properly or may not fill with
water.
Suds can come from:
1. Using the incorrect type of detergent, such as
laundry detergent, hand soap, or dish detergent for
hand washing dishes.
2. Forgetting to replace the rinse aid dispenser cap
after filling (or refilling) the rinse aid, or spilling rinse aid into the tub (rinse aid causes suds to occur).
3. Using an excessive amount of dishwasher detergent.

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher - leaks from Overfill Protection Float

I had the same problem, but mine leaked every time. I have a kenmore ultra wash dishwasher no. 665.15762. I took the bottom rotating sprayer off and found that the plastic piece under the sprayer had a few loose screws and the rubber gasket, under that piece, had blown out at the corner facing the overfill protection float. I took out all the screws and re-mounted the gasket in place and put all the screws back and tightened them. It solved the problem. I hope that this helps others.
