Samsung HLS5086WX/XAA made popping noise and shut off, then made whirring noise.

When my TV did this in the past it ended up being the color wheel. I had someone replace it and it worked fine. I asked it if had to be calibrated after it is installed and he said no. Also make sure the door switch is pushed down when you install the back bulb door. Sometimes this switch can go bad as well.

Samsung HDTV - HLR5067WAX/XAA - popped, went dark

You had a surface mounted capacitor (AKA "CAP") let go on one of the circuit boards, open the set up and look for a small burnt area on the circuit boards inside the TV, it is likely it will be the power supply board, but that is just a guess..

I have a samsung dlp hlt5076sx/xaa and tv normally works fine till I watch tv for more than two hours then it will shut off and the temp light will start to flash I recently replaced the bulb and now this...

You may have to blow out the dust (if any) inside the set (a common reason). Or if the picture scrambles up any before going out you may need to replace the color wheel. And it is possible the fan could be breaking down or slowing down and causing overheating which will make the thermal switch to cut the set off.

Samsung hls4266wx/xaa tv. tv stays on for a minute, then shuts down Timer lamp flashes and temp standby

I put a lamp in to my Samsung HLS4266WX/XAA, but when I actually took it apart for the Bulb replacement which I have done twice now. I found where that switch is, that gets pressed when you have the back cover to the bulb screwed in was hanging, and I can get the new bulb and my replacement bulb to work for about 15 secs, and at one point it was working really good. Can anyone help me with this problem, cause Im getting frustrated. It seems like a simple fix,but its almost like the bulb I ordered is not as good as my other replacement bulb. Its from, anyone heard anything about this company? Please help if you can, id really appreciate it.

My sumsang HLR 5067WA/XAA shuts off repeatedly whats the problem

Alot of times the inside is filled with dust witch makes the curcuits heat up. Shuting down is an internal safety measure. Try takeing the back off and blowing out the dust with compressed air.

My samsung HLR5067WAX/XAA picture is getting darker slowley but surely

The 120 Watt lamp is probably losing High pressure Sodium and will need to be replaced. Lamp Code BP96-00826A (P120W)
Would be the first thing to replace.

TV turns off after a few seconds

it could be the bulb on the way out, they don't like to turn on if the inverter does not get a voltage use from the bulb, while trying to turn on the tv look at the vents for the bulb if you see it flicker on and of while trying to turn on the tv when it would be the bulb. when the tv is on and work hold a peace of paper over the vent not to cover it but to look at the bulb light if you see a flicker or bright and dim and repeats doing this then the bulb is warn out. if you hear clicking or scratching sounds this could be the inverter board on it way out.

My tv keeps turning off by itself

You need the bulb repleaced in the back of the t.v. You need to call your retailer to find out which company they use and or if you have a warranty they can replace it for free.
