Colors no longer working

I have taken 5200 great pictures with this camera. Camera batteries fully charged. Took a picture on vacation on the 4th day (used successfully the previous 3 days), turned it off, turned it back on 10 minutes later and the only color that would appear was green, turned it off then back on and everything went to purple lines,

All of the pictures taken are very fuzzy no matter what you do

check to see if a flower appears on the screen. If it does then the camera is set to macro and all your pictures except close up will be fuzzy. To switch macro off, move the ring on the front of the camera till the arrow is pointed straight down. I was having the same problem. Wasted a whole day of vacation pictures. That was what fixed my problem and I hope it fixes yours too,

Have you checked the batteries?

This camera should only use Alkaline AA batteries or NiMH batteries.

Are they flat or the wrong type

Also check that your memory card is installed properly and all covers are closed

Kodak DX6440 won't power up using batteries

There's a chance that the drop is irrelevant to your problem. You could try using a small eraser to clean the battery contacts down in the chamber (make sure to dump out any eraser particles) and try a new CRV-3 battery, which because of it's slightly longer body produces a little more pressure on the contacts. If that doesn't work to improve things then your cam might need a repair, your call there. Good luck
