Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9564J Top Load Washer
1st, if you take the back plate off the washer, you will be having a
lot of work to put it back on, it is very tough to replace, as the
cabinet is designed to be removed from the front.
2nd, if the motor is running, but nothing is running, then the coupler may be broken or stripped. and it will need replacing, the part is about $12.
3rd, if the buzz is coming from the motor, but the motor is NOT running, or spinning, then the transmission may be frozen and in that case you may need to replace the washer, as transmissions are about $165 for just the part.
