Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I can't see myself on my webcam. So I can't see my video caller!

Check the chat software settings. For example in skype check Tools/Video and make sure the right camera is selected. Check other options for whether video is to be shown or not, image colors and quality etc. and save the settings.

If that does not work that the webcam works in other software other than the chat message. Go to Device Manager, and make sure that the camera driver is installed and the device enabled.

I can see myself, but others can not see me.

Video chat requires a broadband connection to the internet. Insufficient bandwidth will result in either one-way video or if severely limited bandwidth, no video at all. Depending on the video chat client being used, you may still be able to see yourself in a local window but others cannot see you. Two-way voice would still be possible but if file downloading is being done on another PC on the same local network, possible break-up of the audio stream is possible as well.
