Refrigerator not cooling properly

Sounds like the motor. If the motor isn't running properly or at all then the cooling systems are affected and the fridge runs warm.

WK[L] 3000 unit can not change the set temperature. It is stuck on 64 degrees. The unit continues to run and the temperature shows 55.

IVE SEN THIS ISSUE BEFORE

THE FACT THAT YOU CANT CHANGE THE SET COOL POINT ON THE UNIT BELOW 64 IS A SYMPTOM OF A DAMAGED CONTROL BOARD (SENTRY III), NOW THE UNIT CONTINUING TO COOL DOWN BELOW THE SET COOL POINT OF 64 AND GOING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 55 IS MOST LIKELY THE RELAY.
I HAVE FIXED THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE BY REPLACING THE CONTROL BOARD AND RELAY ON THE UNIT.

No solution, but that is really hot. Hot enough to start frying other components. Eventually it will.

What is the max. temp. for 2004 4x4 trailblazer

Depends.
A normal cooling system runs between 195 degrees when the thermostat opens, to 230 degrees when the cooling fan kicks on.
If you are experiencing air temps over 90 degrees, the cooling system could run at 210 or higher.
Idling and moving make a difference too.

I replaced the compressor on my refrigerator. There were no tags as to how much freon the system takes. So I added enough to bring the low side to 72 psi w/ a cabinet temp of 70 degrees. The high side...

**** boy. 72 psi on the low side? It ain't an air conditioner. The low side should be never over 5 PSI. The whole system holds only arounf 4 ounces. What were ya thankin? LOL WOW you will be lucky if the reed valves ain't blown in the new compressor. Go ahead and evacuate the system. Pull that ****** down to as close to negative 30 as you can and then shut her down. Just crack open the freon a hair and let it SLOWL:Y build to no more than 5PSI on the low side.

Temperature hand randomly goes up ad down

I presume you are referring to the gauge, That being said, it sounds to me like you have a air pocket in the cooling system. Check your coolant level (after it has cooled down), and run it for a few minutes with the cap off to burp the system if it was low.

Dual zone Danby Wine Refrigerator. Sounds okay running. Both areas now cool to only 62-64 degrees.

adjust the thermostat all the way to the coolest position and observe it for 24 hours

if it is still 62-64 degrees, then something is wrong. observe what is happening with the unit. is the compressor running, is there a fan which could not be running? or anything that you think is not right.

tnx 4 using fixya,
