Question about M2K Emily Post's Complete Guide to Weddings (xebx201) for PC

1 Answer

I recently bought an unused copy of M2K's Emily Post's Complete Guide to Weddings, which is supposed to work with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. I have tried to install it on my PC (OS is XP, Media Edition, Version 2002, SP3) but have been unsuccessful. With effort, I can get the installation to start (have to go into the files and open via the setup.exe) & it begins to open the files via the Install Wizard, but then I get a message stating that I haven't accepted the End User Agreement. I doesn't give me the option to accept it. Instead, I'm forced to close the program. I can't get past this. Any ideas?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I can' t install Windows Xp on my Asus M50V ( intel centrino 2 T9400).

You need to make sure you have a Windows XP install with Service Pack 3 with it. You can not install the earlier versions of XP on your platform. If you have your own XP disk and another computer with a CD burner you can do what is called "Slipstream" your XP disk to include Service Pack 3 on it. Then you can install XP+SP3 from one CD onto your laptop.

First you need a copy of windows XP. This I can not help with, beg/borrow/ste..... I mean ask a friend for his purchased and fully unused license for installation.

Next, you need the official SP3 file is available for download on Microsoft's servers. Here's the direct link to the English version.

Next, download nLite (and .NET 2.0 or higher from the windows update site.)

Then, follow these instructions to slipstream the CD and install away!

I would post a complete step-by-step here, but the work is already done by LifeHacker and it is done nicely with little pictures and tid-bits to help you along... So why re-invent the wheel :)

Let me know if you need anything else,

Brian

Wrong code entered. I have an unused one but cant enter it. HELP!

When the trial version license comes close to being expired, notices are supposed to appear and ask for an activation code. This is set to happen automatically at intervals during use, it should not shut down entirely. Look for a message that says Convert and click on that if the powered down version appears. It will guide you through the process. If not, read below.

Go to the Microsoft Office Word program and look for the Microsoft Office button. (See pic).

Click the Microsoft Office button at file menu. In the drop down menu, click Options, down on the very bottom of the menu.

to left is is the activate product option. Highlight that.

You can change the key and activate online.732e45a.jpga63e61a.jpg

Boot DVD

you dont need to slipstream the disc with SP 2 or SP 3 but if you want to you can following this guide :

Guide on how to slipstream windows xp with a service pack of your choice

If you get stuck let me know

But basically you create 2 folders on your C drive or on your desktop call one xp disc and the other one service pack

copy everything from the xp disc into the xp disc folder and then download and install iso buster ( download link )

And extract the img file as per the guide and then follow the burning instructions with regards to adding the img file using nero or a burning application. If you dont have nero and want to know how to use the img to make it bootable post back with what burning software you have and what version it is and I will find and post back with a relevant guide

WINDOWS XP

Well, chum, windows XP is the operating system, not a specific program. Phil must have been a rather daft fellow to spread such tosh. I do believe what he meant to say was Windows Movie Maker. Right, hope that helps.
