Lost passcode hit reset & it said jumpstart-p1-97492d

If you have a wireless connection,
Disable your router firewall and check
Disable your antivirus software

Goto command prompt ( Press the windows logo button and the R button together)
Type cmd and hit enter
Type ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter
Type netsh winsock reset and hit enter
Restart your computer and check
If needed please goto your router login page and login and reset it to factory default settings

Because of e-ink screen technology the reader will display last page even if the unit is not charges it may display "full". Try this:

1. Connect the reader to the PC and check if a redlight comes up
2. If there is no light, hit the reset at the bottom for 3 seconds, the light should come on now.
3. Leave the unit charging for about 15-30 minutes
4. Unplug the unit and see if its operational now, if not you can try the reset again and the slide the power switch

try this:
open your browser from the computer that is connected to the internet and type on the adress bar the following link
----->192.168.1.1
when you do so it will propably direct you to your rooter configuration asking you a password there as well.. the default passwords are user:admin/pass: admin.. so unless you have changed those you will be able to login. once you do so just search the page and tabs for wireless settings and you will be able to change your password from there. hope it helped. cheers

Try resetting the internet explorer.
U can do it by going to Tools Menu>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset.

This may be a router at the what is call the "end-of -life and no longer serviceable.
You may have to go an get the latest router at your computer store.
Firmware may be obsolete for the connectivity.

Step 1 : Connect Router - Computer ( Wired )

Step 2 : Open RSP By typing 192.168.2.1 on the Address Bar of the Internet Explorer

Step 3 : On the Left Side Click Security

Step 4 : Leave the Password blank and click Submit

Step 5 : On this page you can find the Security Code

If you have lost the password to access the router page then you have to reset the router

Ensure that you have all the details regarding your internet connection before resetting the router

If you reset the router you can run the smart setup wizard and get connected by entering correct information in all the pages of the wizard

If you are looking for the wireless password:

Access your router page ( Open Internet Explorer --> Type 192.168.1.1 and enter it--> Login name(default)-admin, Password(default)-password) --> GO to wireless settings,under Wireless settings you will find the wireless password.

Check the Proxy settings in the LAN Connection area.

Here is a document which provides information on the Proxy Settings. You should have NOTHING in the proxy settings. I suspect that you have something that is wrong.
