Well, I had to shorten this area since there were too many dang blasted characters and it wouldn't allow me to save it and boy does that ever pish me off.

to get help with spelling issues ---turn on spell check or buy a dictionary
to get help with grammar issues --turn on grammar check
and it is not spelled but spelt
no - it is not a physical or psychological issue --just a lack of a proper education where you were taught to phonetically sound the words and with different pronunciations it leads to spelling errors for example --want as in need and won't as in will not
so many people say it want start---when it is it won't start
any way that is what spell and grammar check was put in the os for
as for the song --it is not known outside USA

Hello Mr. Hermann
I prefer the "trailing edge" of technology myself. Tried and true, right?
Oldtimer or not, I'd bet you're using a powerhouse of a computer, and obviously you had no problem getting here. :).

Deducing from the statement "and afer a longer time I tried to operate it again but got only a message that the function fails" and since the camera uses up some battery juice while it's turned OFF, I concluded that the batteries may be at fault.

The reason nothing happens when you try to turn the camera ON is usually because the batteries are just too weak.

The proper battery for that camera is the Lithium type, and likely costs around $15.00 but it lasts a long time, if you don't use the flash a lot.
Give it a try and see what happens.

If you like to bother with that, there are rechargeable alternatives, but they must be the Li-Ion type. The price varies, and maybe you can check it out online, or with a place that sell cameras and such.
A specialty camera store likely have higher prices.

I have one charger and two batteries, so while I'm using one battery, the other one is charging.

I need a gearhead for a homelite z830sb string trimmer. the part # is A04836C. Homelite no longer makes or stocks it. Apparently they don't think their products should last or can last 14 years. ...

I have seen exactly what you mean. The part is listed as obsolete and has been superceded by another part # UP06970 that is also out of stock NLA (no longer available). But somebody, somewhere on the net has one of these. These guys list it, but it is out of stock...at least it is not listed as no longer available. Your part is the gearhead at the top of this page. You can contact these guys for more information and when it might become available to you if they order you one. I know just how frustrating this is. Anyway, these guys list your part with the new part number.

I just bought two new belts at Grainger, their stock number is Dayton 1DHH5. This is for 3/8" belts. I don't know what the originals were, they were so far gone! I think a 1/2" belt would work too. Industry P/N for the belts would be 100XL037 for the 3/8", and 100XL050 for 1/2". It's a 10" belt, with 5 teeth/inch.

Spell checker not working in Yahoo email

" A few of you have been reporting that you are having issues with the spell-checker in the new version of Yahoo! Mail. I just want to let you know that we are aware of the issue and will have a fix out soon.
In the meantime, you can use the built-in spell checking functionality of some of today’s modern browsers. For example, the latest versions of Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari all have in-line spell checkers. If you don’t have one of those browsers installed or don’t want to install one, you can use classic Yahoo! Mail until we have rolled out the fix (from ‘Options’ click the ‘Switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic’ link)."

Type R s60 tires rub when turned left or right. Very short turning radius. Tires seem to be stock. What's the deal? 2004... What size tire and wheel should be on there so it doesn't rub

That was a very common problem in the S60 R cars. The only solution is to put the original equipment tires back on. I mean the same manufacturer and design. I believe they were pirelli tires (spelling sorry) as to the design, PZero's I think
