SOURCE: my Sony ericsson k800i is not ringing in full volume

I had exactly the same problem and came to a conclusion.

When you are playing in your music player at the same time it's playing use the volume keys on the top of the phone.

I hope this helps

SOURCE: Ringer off, need to re-install ringer. volume control does not put ringer back on

To turn your ringer back on, you do the following. For your handset, you push Menu, scroll to ringer settings, then push select, Press select again for ringer volume, then scroll up to turn on and increase the ringer volume. Then press Save once its at the desired volume. To change your base ringer, while it is not in use, push the ringer up button until you hear the desired setting. That should fix your problems.

SOURCE: how to increase volume in samsung E250

Try the code below at your own risk. I will not be liable for any damage this may cause to your phone.

Type the following codes on standby menu

*#0206*8378#

after typing you will be presented to a Test Mode menu
Select H/W Test
Select Audio Settings
Select IIS Normal (option 10) this is the normal volume for the phone. Scroll down to select Rx vol. then change level 14 to a higher value. Maximum is 30,000, i set mine at 5000
You can do the same for IIS Normal2 this is the volume for Music Player

I haven't yet seen one yet, but I looked online and it seems that the zoom buttons for the camera usually acts as a volume control. if that doesn't help if you still got the manual look at that.

How to increase ringing volume and hearing volume

When you are receiving a call use the up/down or left/right rocker (the squarish thingy around the circular button in the middle) to increase/decrease the volume. This also works for the speaker volume if you have the speaker on.

Volume

with all ericsson the volume is already way more than any phone on the market but there is also software to do that but you will have to take the phone into a mobile service center to have that done.
