Question about RCA RTD170 System
Unplug the unit and connect it to any other power outlet and then check.If the same problem occurs. then Unplug all the external wires connected to the unit wait for few minutes then re-connect every thing back and check out.If still the same exact problem shows then its a clear problem of main circuit board overheating.The internal circuit board needs to be checked and replaced.If the unit is under warranty get ot replaced.There are many other users facing same problem of unit turning off after few seconds.
