Hello,

Occasionally, a GPS unit will need to be reset. This can be due to software errors, firmware updates or simply at the command.

Hold the GPS firmly at arm level. This will help prevent striking the wrong keys as the keypad is very small.
Locate the Light key. It can be identified by the icon of a light bulb on a green background.
Press the Light key for approximately three to four seconds. This will initiate the quick power down sequence. When the sequence begins, release the Light key.
Wait approximately one minute for the gps random on-board memory (ROM) to fully discharge.
Press the green Light key to reactivate the GPS. Wait for the Garmin welcome screen.

Timing belt set-up for a 2000 Seat Inca 1.9 SDi

1. Align the crankshaft timing marks on the flywheel / gearbox

2. Remove the valve cover
3. Lock the camshaft

4. Fit the injection pump locking pin

5. Loosen the camshaft gearwheel bolt, 180 degrees. Use a wrench to counter-hold
6. Loosen the camshaft gearwheel while holding it in place

7. Fit the timing belt in the sequence as shown in the below figure: a - b - c - d - e - f - g

8. Fit the timing belt and camshaft gearwheel together
9. Turn the tensioner clockwise to align both marks

10. Tighten the large bolt on the tensioner to a torque of 20 Nm
11. Check for correct fit
12. Lock the camshaft. Tighten the camshaft gearwheel bolts: 45 Nm. Use a wrench to counter-hold
13. Remove helping tools
14. Turn the engine two rotations by hand
15. Repeat the procedure if required
16. Fit the vacuum pump
17. Refit the crankshaft pulley. Tighten torque: 20 Nm + 20 degrees
18. Fit the timing belt cover
19. Refit the valve cover
20. Fit the ancillary drive belt
21. Refit the inlet air manifold hoses
22. Check the injection timing

Torque settings:
Camshaft gearwheel: 45 Nm
Tensioner pulley: 20 Nm
Crankshaft pulley: 20 Nm + 20 degrees

What size torque bit to get brakes off? 1999 expedition


To front pads, tighten the caliper pins to 16-30 ft. lbs. (22-40 Nm) on 1997-98 F-250HD, F-350 and F-Super duty models. Tighten the caliper pins to 21-26 ft. lbs. (28-36 Nm) on the F-150, F-250, Expedition and Navigator. Tighten the caliper pins to 42 ft. lbs. (56 Nm) on the 1999-00 F-250SD, F-350 and F-Super Duty models.

To install the rear disc brake caliper onto the rear support bracket. Tighten the caliper retaining pins on the F-150, F-250, Expedition and Navigator to 20 ft. lbs. ( 27 Nm). Tighten the caliper retaining bolts on the 1999-00 F-Super Duty models to 27 ft. lbs. (36 Nm.)

Yes i have a 00 model nissian quest van. 3.3 v-6 motor i cant find nobody who knows what the mains and rods torque at. i put a new crankshaft in the van and dont know what to torque the rods and mains at....


main bearing cap bolts: tighten them in three steps, in sequence, to 67-74 ft. lbs. (90-100 Nm).

rods: Lubricate the threads with new engine oil and install the nuts, using the following procedure:
  1. Tighten the nuts to 10-12 ft. lbs. (14-16 Nm).
  2. Using a torque angle meter, tighten the nuts an additional 60-65°. If a torque angle meter is not available, tighten the nuts to 28-33 ft. lbs. (38-44 Nm).

These new graphics cards pull a lot of power from the power supply. I know you didn't start off having this issue but given the symptoms you are experiencing I'd take a closer look at the power supply and perhaps replace it with a 650 watt or better.

Generator 3.0L (2V)
Removal
  1. Partially raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Section 00-02 .
  2. Remove the right front wheel. Refer to Section 00-02 .
  3. Remove the lower fender splash shield retainers and position the shield out of the way.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Remove the accessory drive belt from the generator pulley. Refer to Section 03-05 .
  6. Remove the power steering line bracket and heater hose support bracket from the generator.
  7. Remove the upper generator bolts.
  8. Remove the generator splash shield.
  9. Raise the vehicle.
  10. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the battery positive cable from the generator.
  11. Position an adjustable stand to the subframe.
  12. Remove the right subframe bolts.
  13. Remove the lower generator bolt.
  14. Disconnect the right hand stabilizer link.
  15. Lower the subframe to provide clearance.
  16. Remove the generator.
Installation
  1. NOTE: Do not tighten the lower bolt.

    Install the generator and the lower bolt.
  1. Raise the subframe and install the subframe bolts. Tighten the bolts to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
  1. Connect the right hand stabilizer link and torque to 47-62 Nm (35-46 lb-ft).
  1. Remove the adjustable stand.
  1. Lower the vehicle.
  1. Install the upper generator bolts and tighten them to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  1. Install the power steering line bracket and the heater hose support bracket. Tighten the nut to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
  1. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Section 03-05 .
  1. Partially raise the vehicle.
  1. Tighten the lower generator bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  1. Connect the generator electrical connector.
  1. Install the battery positive B + cable and nut. Tighten the cable nut to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  1. Install the generator splash shield.
  1. Install the fender splash shield and the retainers.
  1. Install the right front wheel.
  1. Lower the vehicle.
3.0L (4V)
Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section 14-01 .
  1. Remove the accessory drive belt from the generator pulley. Refer to Section 03-05 .
  1. Remove the power steering line bracket and heater hose support bracket from the generator.
  1. Remove the upper generator bolts.
  1. Partially raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Section 00-02 .

  1. Remove right tie-rod. Refer to Section 11-02 .
  1. Remove accessory drive belt (8620) from generator. Refer to Section 03-05 .
  1. Disconnect electrical harness connector and output terminal wiring.
  1. Remove nut and position engine control sensor wiring (12A581) out of the way.
  1. Remove the two bolts and one stud bolt.
  1. Remove generator from vehcile

it's 12 nM which appears to convert to about 9 foot lbs of torque.... if your torque wrench has nM use that.

Locate starter


Starter Motor Removal
  1. sta~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif WARNING: WHEN SERVICING STARTER MOTOR (11002) OR PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA OF THE STARTER MOTOR, NOTE THE HEAVY GAUGE INPUT LEAD CONNECTED TO THE STARTER SOLENOID (11390) IS HOT AT ALL TIMES. MAKE SURE THE PROTECTIVE CAP IS INSTALLED OVER THE TERMINAL AND IS REPLACED AFTER SERVICE.
    Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301). Refer to Section 14-01 .
  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Section 00-02 .
  1. Disconnect starter cables from starter solenoid.
  1. Remove upper and middle bolt.
  1. Remove lower bolt and starter motor.
Installation
  1. Position starter motor to engine and install middle and lower bolts finger-tight.
  1. Tighten the upper bolt to 20-27 Nm (15-20 lb-ft).
  1. Tighten the lower and middle bolts to 20-27 Nm (15-20 lb-ft).
  1. Connect starter solenoid connector. Be careful to push straight on and make sure connector locks in position with a notable click or detent.
  1. Install S terminal cable eyelet with washer and nut. Tighten to 4.5-6.5 Nm (40-57 lb-in).
  1. Install starter cable nut to starter solenoid B-terminal. Tighten to 9-14 Nm (80-124 lb-in).
  1. Replace red starter solenoid safety cap.
  1. Lower vehicle to floor.
  1. Connect battery ground cable.

  1. If tensioner assembly is being replaced, install tensioner and mounting bolts. Torque bolts to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.) .
  2. Retract tensioner if required. CAUTION: The camshaft pin and the slot in the cam sprocket must be clocked at 12:00. The crankshaft keyway must be clocked at 2:00. The crankshaft sprocket must be installed so that the dots and or paint marking is at 6:00.
  3. Place both camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket on the bench with timing marks on exact imaginary center line through both camshaft and crankshaft bores.
CAUTION: The timing chain must be installed with the single plated link aligned with the dot and or paint marking on the camshaft sprocket. The crankshaft sprocket is aligned with the dot and or paint marking on the sprocket between two plated timing chain links.
