Not sure what they are called but there should be a little gadget by each pulley that holds the belt in place. If the tractor has a lot of hours it's possible one of these gadgets could be broken or bent.I had that trouble and mine were bent. I bent mine so there was very little space between the gadget and belt. Works fine now.
