Question about KitchenAid KEHS01P Electric Dryer

1 Answer

Set the cycle, and press the hold to start button. There is a beep and a click (like a relay), and that is all that happens

Very helpful. Problem was diagonsed exactly. Dryer is now working, even though with a bypassed thermal fuse (while waiting for a replacement)
    Thank you very much.

The click is coming from the heater relay on the electronic control board. The issue is most commonly due to a blown thermal fuse (part number 3392519) mounted on the blower housing. By-pass the thermal fuse by jumping the wires then start the dryer. Replace the thermal fuse including the thermistor (part number 8577274, also located on the blower housing) if the dryer starts when the thermal fuse is by-passed. These components are accessible through the lower front access panel.

I found 2 parts attached to the blower housing. One with red and black wires, and one with two grey wires. Without a schematic, I can't tell which is the thermistor and which is the thermal fuse. I am guessing that the red/black wires to to the thermal fuse??? Also, Do you have a schematic for this unit?

Here's the exploded view diagram which include the blower housing with the thermal fuse on it. The thermal fuse is number 59 on the diagram to the right of the thermistor which is number 42. Click on the links provided on my first post for the photo of the said parts. Indicate the exact model number of the dryer for the schematic diagram.

Erratum: The thermal fuse is number 59 on the diagram to
the left of the thermistor which is number 42. Click on the links
provided on my first post for the photo of the said parts.

We have a whirlpool ADG 7800 dishwasher ,getting a beeping sound and start button flashes 12 times? Any help

Hi
.
Ok try this and see what happens.
.
Hold the start button again till it beeps
Then select the first cycle on the left which should be the rinse cycle
Then turn the dishwasher off
Then press and hold the start button and with this held in turn the dishwasher on.
Once the start light is flashing let go
Now press the start button once and close the door.
.
Now it will run a 12 minute test cycle. If it goes wrong it will drain the water out and beep. So open the door and count the number of flashes from the start light inbetween the pause and let me know.
.
Regards

Stop beeping at end of wash on bosh machine

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops. Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.

Setting watch

Press and hold the top left button (mode) until the numbers start blinking. On mine this is the alarm time set. Press the mode button one more time to get to time set. The hour will be blinking. Press top right button (start/stop) to cycle through hour, minute, date, etc. and press bottom right button (adjust) to change the number which is flashing. Press mode to finish.

To turn off alarm, press and HOLD Adjust button, then press Start/Stop to cycle through alarms on/off.
