Question about LG Xenon GR500 Cell Phone
Hi, the problem simply is the flex of the phone, which is the mechanism that is connecting the screen to the keypad of the phone.
It may sometimes work when the mechanism connects a little, that is why you can type on the keypad. It's quite difficult fixing it on your own, but if you want to, you will have to get a replacement flex, get the appropriate screw driver that matches the screws on the phone, carefully unscrew the parts of the phone. Locate the flex & replace it with the replacement flex you have with you,
Carefully screw it back together and you will find your phone in good condition again, or better still you can take the phone to an expert for repair.

Hi,the problem is associated with a jam on the operating system,i will suggest you turn off the phone and remove the battery, afterwards, insert the battery after 25mins at least,
turn on the phone, and the problem is solved,if the problem remains,it means the firmware of the phone needs to be flashed to restore the phone back to a normal working condition.
Thanks and take care

Tips for a great answer:

The flex cable of your phone between the keyboard and screen may be disconnected or needs to be replaced, which enables the screen flips when the keyboard is brought up. The best step here is to take it to the LG repair shop and get it mended. Though you can it is difficult to repair it yourself, you can use appropriate screwdrivers for the screws of the phone, find the flex cable and fix it. Close the phone just the way you opened it.
