picture shuts off after 30 seconds samsung hlp5674w tv
Problem for Samsung DLP HL-P5663W 56" TV

tv shuts down approximately every 6 minutes for about 45 seconds then comes back on. Prior to shutting down it flickers with bars of white. There is an accompanying whining that I believe is the color wheel coming on but it never seems to go away. I replaced the projector lamp on 6-27-2007. I have taken the back off and dusted all accessible areas. Any suggestions?

Install a 110v computer fan on the outside of the TV to **** the heat out. I did this and my TV has never turned off again. The TV has a poor interior fan and does not take the excessive heat out. Also the TV does not indicate a heat problem like the manual states. Need further assistance email me for pictures and suggestions on the fan
