Yes, more diagnosis on your part to isolate the root cause... Did it fail suddenly (used to work)? Have you tried swapping the speakers? Is it related to specific source(s)? Does it work on speaker setup or FM?

The inputs may be assignable on the Harman Kardon. Make sure you have selected the proper analog or digital input type for the cable you are using. My harman kardon avr 55 keeps shutting off on its own

HI,
Fist of all you have to disconnect all the speakers From AVR. Then switch ON the AVR . If its working normally then any of the speaker or any of the wire to the speaker is faulty. If so connect the speaker back one by one and check on which speaker connection does the AVR shuts off. That speaker or the wire to the speaker is faulty. Also try the same with the HDMI cables if they are use. Improper connction of HDMI cables can lead to these type of problem

If the AVR is not functioning properly even after removing the speakers(shuts off) thne there is internal fault with the amplifiers stage. Normally Dry soldering on the amplifier circuit board can cause this problem. Its need proffessional support.

Denon AVR-1706 Left Front and Rear speakers stopped working. Any suggestions?

go into the settings menu and do a sound test using the recievers pink noise tester to test each speaker connected, if while doing this test you still get no sound from those two speakers check connections, make sure speakers are not blown.
if speakers and connections are good then the reciever needs repair

No sound when using Panny plasma with RX-V3800

Let me see if I understand. You have one HDMI cable linking your TV and AVR? This is only to send video and sound out to your TV from the AVR you will not be able to send sound back over this same cable. You'll have to use the TVs audio out and connect it to an input of the AVR. The "HDMI out" on the AVR is just that Out and not In. For more questions I'd recommend checking out the RX-V3800 RX-V1800 thread over on AVSforum.com

Speakers not Working :(

The Problem might be that the speakers have an internal problem or that the wires are messed up inside. What I suggest you to do if you can is to return them to the store where you bought them.

If you need more instructions on how to try to fix the speakers, please feel free to contact me and I will Be GLAD to help you.

Thank You and have a good day!

Denon AVR-3600, Sound issue on one side only

sounds like you may have a bad tweeter in your speaker. change the right and left speakers and see if the problem persists in that same speaker. if so, you have a bad speaker.
