Question about Craftsman Garden

Open Question

I have a Craftsman 4.6 amp , etc.

I have a Craftsman 4.6 amp "Hasslefree" (what a laugh!) Head and refills to go with it. Trouble is, after about three feet in operation, the refill cord breaks and has to be replaced. Some of it fuses and is hard to remove.
I also have a Frigidaire Home Products Weedeater Twist'n Edge with a reel. Here too, after about three feet the cord breaks and has to be pulled out. Sometimes it won't move. On this device you're supposed to press down to release more cord, but pressing down does nothing, the cord doesn't move.
Any solution to either or both?

those are usaully under your pull start cover and if its broke you can buy a new rope but if its broke near handle i would open it and retie it to save ya money. but remember to wind spring a little to keep tension on it before pushing it through the hole for handle.

SOURCE: broken pull cord

ur going to have to unmount the the motor from the shaft

step 1. Unbolt throttle housing

step 2. now with that out of the way u should see a clamp holding the motor to the shaft, loosen and pull the shaft out, there will be a cable, so make sure u have it lined up so it goes back into place

step 3, look at the back of the motor, u should see screws going into the plastic housing (coming in from back going into plastic)

step 4. once that is off pull the broken part of the cord out

step 5. wind up the starter coil, (it will only wind up one way) its spring loaded so be carful, once it stops back it off 1 full turn

step 6. u will see a hole for the cord in the housing and in the coil, make sure they are lined up

step 7. insert the cord through both holes, tie it as tighttttt as possible, then let the spring do the rest

step 8. put it back together

My compressor hose is running extremely hot...any reason why and do i have anything to worry about

Assuming that it's used in an open-air spot so that the intake air is cool, hot compressed air means the head is running hot.

Most small-to-mid sized compressors run warm after a few minutes, and some run fairly hot after 10 minutes.
If the hose is too hot to hold after 20 minutes, the first suspect is friction within the compressor's head.
This could be caused by poor circulation due to a low-quality oil.
It could also mean a blockage in the air-delivery system (ie: oil-dust gunk at a fitting causing restriction, making the motor work harder than normal.

Flush the oil reservoir, pull the feed lines one-at-a-time and flush out. Pull the intake filter and blow out the head & valves.
Refill the reservoir with Craftsman compressor oil.

Need substitute switch part for sears saw

Sorry , but go buy a new saw. Your not going to find an aftermarket
dealer that carries this switch.

Trying to rig some other switch is not worth the trouble over buying a new one. If the switch is not available, then the saw is old.

YOU MAY HAVE A STUCK THERMOSTAT
OR AT WORST CLOGGED RADIATOR..

NOW THE WORST.. YOU MAY HAVE A CRACKED HEAD SO PULL OUT THE OIL DIP STICK AND SEE IF YOU HAVE H2O IN THE OIL...

IF SO... YOU ARE IN BIGGER TROUBLE HOWEVER YOU MAY SIMPLY A HAVE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET.. OK THATS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO FOR A .

I refilled the blackcartlage but its not printing anything anymore

You probably have an air bubble. Take out cartridge and clean the head and points with proper solution. Place tissue under the ink output area, and gently blow area where you refill. This will clear block. Gently push an unscented wet wipe under ink output, and make sure colour is uniform and coming out easily, reinstall it. Your mistype of cartridge as cartledge made me laugh, as we do get so angry with printers they nearly become human to us, and we wish they did have cartledge as we could shoot them!!! lilac gerry ps don't forget to reset ink levels for new cartridge xxx
