The Pro 9000 is an excellent webcam, so the problem is likely to be in your lighting or Internet connection. Try the free tips to improve webcam video quality in this article, particularly the ones on lighting. Make sure your Pro 9000 is plugged directly into a USB slot on your computer and not through a USB hub or extension cable. Also try to use it on a wired connection to your modem and avoid wireless. Lastly use this speedtest tool to make sure your upload speed is at least 256kb.

I bought a 40inch and tuned it I have connected a ps4 via HDMI am receiving a signal but no picture it says 60hz / 1080p ?

From the brief description of the problem that you have given, it appears that there is an issue with the video signal types supported by your TV. Normally, devices connected over the HDMI line interact with each other automatically and decide which resolution to work at. This is called the EDID - Extended Display Identification Data.
If you are a technical person, then this link can help you understand and solve the problem : http://www.extron.com/company/article.aspx?id=uedid
Or else, the best thing to do is to call someone from the support dept. of the store where you bought it and get it fixed.

Connecting

did you check this out yet? (from the owners manual)

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the AVR's video output resolution

is set higher than the capabilities of the actual connection,

you will not see a picture. If the best available video connection

from the AVR to the TV is composite video, press this button
and change the resolution to 480i.

Can anyone identify this PC Wallpaper

that's probably that your wallpaper isn't fit with your monitor resolution, for example,if your wallpaper size is 1280x1024 but your screen resolution (size) is 1024x768,it doesn't fit your screen and the wallpaper will only show half or even less
to check your current resolution,click
Start->Control Panel->click Appearance and Personalization->Click "adjust screen resolution" on the Display categories
you can see your current resolution and also you can set your resolution
To check the picture resolution, right click on the picture, select properties, click the Summary tab,and it doesn't show the resolution, click Advanced on the Summary tab
But I suggest you to download the wallpaper with a fit size instead of changing the screen resolution, because too high resolution will make your screen goes black
geez,i'm so sorry for my poor english
please rate this solution if it's work and let me know if you still has a problem.and thanks for using Fixya!

Cant get 1080 HD picture

Doug Stanton,

I hope this has been resolved by now, but if not then I would be more than happy to assist.

There is a setting where you can change the HDTV Format to display in 1080i. 1080p is available only on select PPV/VoD's. To check or change that, access the Main Menu. From there select System Setup, then HDTV Setup. Go to TV Type and change it to the resolution you want, and make sure Aspect Ratio is 16x9.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, just let me know!

After installing the ASUS EAH5450 my computer turns on and runs fine on my desktop monitor. However, I've hooked up a HDMI cable to my Sharp Aquos and the tv says it's receiving an incompatible...

The easiest thing to try is change the screen resolution before connecting via HDMI. The process is a little different depending on what operating system you're using.
For Windows Vista/Windows 7: 1. Right click on your desktop and select "Screen Resolution" 2. Slide the bar to change the resolution to either 1024x768 or 1280x1024. 3. Click apply.
For Windows XP: 1. Right click on your desktop and select "Properties" 2. Click on the tab to the far right that says "Settings" 3. Under Screen Resolution, slide the bar to change the resolution to either 1024x768 or 1280x1024. 4. Click apply.
Either of these resolutions should at least give you picture when you reconnect with HDMI. Once you get a picture, repeat these steps and gradually move the slider higher to get a better resolution picture. If you receive the incompatible signal message again, just wait 15 seconds and the previous setting will be restored.
If this doesn't work, you may also have to adjust the screen refresh rate. From the same window that has the screen resolution adjustment bar, click the link or button that says "Advanced." The second tab, "Monitor," has a drop-down menu to adjust the screen refresh rate. Depending on your HDTV, the most common setting for this could be 60 Hz, 70 Hz, or 120 Hz. If none of those values work for you, you should check the manual that came with your TV to check what the proper resolution and refresh rate should be for your computer connection.

How do I increase screen resolution in PC mode running Windows XP Pro?

To change your monitor's resolution

1. Right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.

2. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.

3. Drag the Screen resolution slider to the left to decrease the resolution of your monitor, making text and pictures appear larger. Or drag the Screen resolution slider to the right to increase your monitor's resolution, making text and pictures appear smaller.

4. Click Apply to have the new resolution take effect.

I previously had my wii on an older tv and it worked fine. I recently purchased a new tv (Sharp Quatron Aquos) and when I hooked up my wii and same cables to the tv, my screen is now a hazy black and white...

You are using composite cables(red, white, yellow) mine did the same thing. The aquos is all digital, wont read analog, which is what composite cables are.
They now make a component cable for the wii. I paid $28 at b.b.

HDMI connection with Panasonic DMP-BD35K Blu-Ray Disc Player

Try hooking the Panasonic up straight to the tv without going through the receiver. If it displays a picture its obviously not the blu-ray player. May also be a problem with the HDMI cable itself. Hope this helps.
