Water is not draining

It is currently on spin cycle but the water is not draining. If I open the door(which I did once) water comes pouring out! Is there any way to drain it without reopening the door?

Door not opening in Equator / Hirundo (EZ3612CEE/EZ2512CEE/EZ1612V)

Door not opening in Equator / Hirundo ( EZ3612CEE / EZ2512CEE / EZ1612V )
If the door in the unit is not opening it means that the unit has not completed the cycle selected or else there is something in the unit that has malfunctioned. In such cases if there are clothes in the unit, one tries to open the door by pulling the door handle which mostly results in breaking of the door handle and also the clothes in the unit cannot be removed
To avoid the breakage of the door handle and also the damage to the clothes you can follow the following procedure to open the door.
  1. Make sure that the machined is turned OFF.
  2. Set the dryer & wash temperature knobs to the off position (12 o'clock / pointing vertically upwards)
  3. Turn the wash program knob to cycle no. 4 & advance the knob by 6 clicks in the clockwise direction.
  4. Turn the machine ON by pressing the ON/OFF Switch.
  5. You will observe that the machine starts draining out the water and also the drum starts moving ( goes into the spin cycle)
  6. Wait until the water is drained out of the machine, this can be understood by paying attention to the sound made by the drain pump when it initially starts draining out the water and once the water has been drained out.
  7. Once you are sure that all the water in the unit has drained out switch OFF the power.
  8. Try opening the door now, the door should open.
Once you have managed to open the door, it is advisable to reset the unit first before further using the machine. For the Reset Procedure Click Here

How do you open the door, and how do you get the clothes not sopping wet when the wash cycle is done?

HI- If the clothes are coming out wet then there is either a problem with the spin cycle or drain pump. The door won't open if the washer senses there is too much water in the machine. Try doing a dedicated spin again the see if the door will open. Your drain pump may also be clogged. There is a little door at the bottom front of the machine. Open this (pry carefully open with a butter knife) and you will see a plastic plug that can be unscrewed (counter clockwise), this is the pump filter. Be prepared to catch the water that will come out with a pan and have some towels ready, sometimes there is a lot of water. Once you get the filter out clean it out and check for any loose change inside the pump. Screw it back in carefully and tight and be careful not to strip the threads. Run a rinse and spin once it's all back together and see if it drains ok. If it still is not draining you probably need a new pump. There are very few Asko Techs around so you may have some trouble getting someone out. As well, call Asko customer service, they have really good techs that can help you over the phone. Good luck.

The door won't open after a cycle...and all the clothes are soaking wet..even after 2 spin cycles it still has a lot of (soapy) water at the bottom..Help!!

the most common problem is a blocked or restricted drain pump. You can use a wet/dry Shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove all the water.
Once the water is removed then your door should unlck and you can remove all the clothes.
after that you need to look at your drain pump remove the hoses be sure to check the hose that comes down from the bottom of the tub to the drain pump and look for any obstruction also check your drain pump inside there could be something stuck in it.

My washer will not complete a spin cycle. I can't open the door to get my clothes out. I've cut off the circuit breaker and the door still won't open. Any suggestions?

you can use a wet dry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to removed the water.once the water is removed then the door will unlock.if you remove the small access panel on the front of the washer there is a white plastic type cord that you can pull and this should also release the door.
after all the water is gone remove the drain pump cover and look to see if there is anything obstructing the pump.there will some water that will stil come out this is normal.

Door locked light stays on so cannot open door

Make sure that all the water has drained or the door will not open, lay the hose into a bowl or other shallow vessel and let any remaining water run out. Wait a for a while for lock to release,if it still does not open then the door is going to have to be opened by force.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks

Will not do anything

You need to drain the machine manually. Drop the drain hose to a level that is lower than the drain pump and the water will syphon out. Once all the water is out you can open the door. Remove the washing and then close the door and start a rinse cycle. While the machine is taking water, open the dispenser and pour half a cup of milk in with the water. This will neutralise the suds. Once all the suds are gone the washer will be ok.

Water pouring out of my Kenmore HE3t

Teach, usually all leaks are visable. Have your husband remove the lower panel by removing the 3 #11 torxs on the bottom panel and pull down and off. Now you can see the tub drain hose and filter. First check the dispensor drawer. Remove it and check to see if you have anything blocking the inlet tube to the tub. Sometimes a seal from a fab or detergent cap blocks the entrance. When the disp. is out just reach in with a finger in front and you will feel the inlet grate. Next inspect the boot. Make sure there are no cuts or rips. Once you feel that this checks out ok, replace the disp. drawer and put the machine in the test cycle. On the left side press drain/spin. On the right side press spin speed until No spin is lit. Then press the prewash button 4 times until C:00 is displayed. Now let it do it's thing. It will fill, rotate, drain and spin. It will end with C:08 in the display. With the bottom panel off during the test, see if you can find the source of the leak. You can push cancel/drain anytime to stop the test. Catriver.

Maytag Neptune doesn't spin at end

Of course, did you find anything clogging your outlet filter, this is most likely the problem. The outlet filter needs periodic cleaning, according to your usage.
