Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I have a kodac easy share m753 camera and purchased a used easy share printer dock with no instructions. How do I connect the two devices? The only cables I have are a usb and the power cord, the connection on the top of the printer is not a match to my camera.

Can I have the model number of the dock so that I can suggest an appropriate connection method?

There is no model # on the box or the dock. The box states it is compatible with camera models CX/6000 7000, DX/6000 7000 and LS/600 700. Now that I put on my glasses , I see a usb port on the left side of the dock. Can I connect from it to the camera?

Absolutely! The only reason I have asked the model no is to help you locate the USB port.

Download pictures from kodac M753 to my laptop

what kind of laptop is it? If you have a Kodak easy share dock you can sync them with the touch of a button depending on your laptop you may be able to take the card out of your camera and put it in your laptop. Does it have a card reader? This camera comes with a USB adapter, so alternately you can connect it to your computer that way, browse to the photo folder in your camera and copy everything over that way.

When you buy a m753 kodak does it come

Kodak sells three different package versions of their cameras. You can purchase one of their cameras with an adapter but no dock, with adapter and dock, or with adapter and printer dock. The dock and printer dock are also available on line (try eBay) as accessories. The dock is an extremely handy accessory, allowing automatic charging and computer connection. The printer dock though, at least in my experience, is a cumbersome and unreliable method of obtaining low-quality photos.

Hi. it's only possible if you use a separate card reader and put them in the DCIM folder once you open them under My Computer.

You cannot transfer it back from the computer to the camera directly. Not possible for kodak

Docking and charging digital camera

Not sure if this will help, but you might try removing the batteries from camera, then see if it responds on the dock, if so it is most likely bad battery. That battery should be easy enough to find at locally. You might wanna try the Interactive Troubleshooter on Kodak's site. http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn030483.jhtml?pq-path=6861
