I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you have a paperweight. Old style phones like that use an analog cell network that has been shut off, at least in the US. I can't be sure without the make and model.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

How do I restart my Motorola HIPTOP slide phone back to original settings

you could look for a reset switch, the settings mite be in the settings of the unit,
just remove the battery from the unit, than turn it on until all power is gone from the unit, wait few more minutes, than plug the batteries back in set up phone.

How to install sim card in motorola

In order to provide correct directions we need the exact model of the phone.

Out older flip phones and early android phones require you to remove battery cover and battery. Our newer phones you open a SIM door on the side or top of the phone.

Can batteries be replaced on Motorola boost mobile cellular phone 1415

I suggest you Google the Internet for a battery for your model cell phone. You will get various suppliers and prices then you can decide whether to buy a new battery or a new smart phone.

I had this same problem. I called customer service and they sent me a new battery. But before the new battery arrived I took the old one out and then put it back in after approx. 2 minutes. The phone started working fine again.

Motorola V3XX not charging

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

Motorola invalid battery

Did you dry the phone completely? If not here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, sim card, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

Battery charging problem

Seems like it may be your wall charger.
I would inspect your connectors (both charger & phone) as well though (for dirt or debris).
I would also suggest using Motorola's wall chargers, the products seem to charge best with them rather than the after-market knock-offs which also seem to damage the phones connectors on some models.
