Question about Heating & Cooling
Can i put a window air conditioner--
through a wall---
window ac--are half the price of thru the wall air conditioners--
i think i know someone who has done this with no problem--
im just making sure with you guys---
Hi, yes you can put a window unit through a wall. Just make sure that the condensation will drain from the indoor coil to the out side which it should do on its own design. Also, make sure that the condenser coil at the rear of the unit is all out side. You will have no problems at all. You can use 2- peices of small chain at each corner and use small lag bolts to secure it to the wall. Looks better then to build a frame to set it on for support. Yes, they are made to install in either place.
Best of Luck,
