Question about E-Machines emachines (emachinees) CD-ROM Drive
I CAN SAVE AN EXCEL PROGRAM TO A CD USING MY LAPTOP. I CAN THEN OPEN THAT PROGRAM ON MY DESKTOP, HOWEVER WHEN I TRY TO SAVE ANY CHANGES THAT I MADE TO THE PROGRAM BACK ONTO THE SAME CD I AM TOLD THAT I CANNOT BECAUSE THE CD IS WRITE PROTECTED. HOW CAN I GET BOTH MY LAPTOP AND MY DESKTOP TO BE ABLE TO READ AND WRITE TO THE SAME CD.
You can't. You have to install Excel onto your computers. You can then use that programme to create files, which in turn you save to your computer hard drive.
Once done you can write CD's , DVD's or more popular for file transfer a USB flash drive.
Should you wish to continue with CD's, then I suggest you use CD-RW (Re-writeable CD's)
