I have an HP lapto with Window Vista home premium. I bought it in december 2008. for the past year I am in Afghanistan and have no internet connection. but I did downloaded lots of movies, songs and files from others hard drive and memory sticks. Now, 2 problems. First about 2 months ago happened and eversince the same is going on and that is the computer get connected to internet via wifi or cable (tryed it when vacation last month) but the browser does not open or display any sites giving me the diognostic window which doesn't do anything. so I can not get connected to internet. now the second problem that occured latly. when I start it, it gets turned on and a second later a window comes on saying that window explorer can not be run and give me 2 choices to check and fix it on line or close the program. In either cases it turnes the screen off for about 15 second and the same window appears again. while this window is on all other icons are disabled and can not be clicked on. so some one told me to just connect it to internet and ahtomatically will be solve but I can get connected to online. What is my problem ? Many guys stated they are computer wiz but could not fix it. they checked antiviruses, firewalls, explorer ad on and etc but not fixed. Now I pass it to you guys and hopefully some one guide me the right path. ( I can get cable connection for an hour or so maybe and hopefully)

Amazon Kindle is an electronic e-reader book which is capable of storing of millions of books. Amazon Kindle is small, portable electronic reading device that allows users to download and read digital e-books, magazines and news paper. Apart from reading e-books, magazines and newspaper, Kindle can be used for music, gaming, web browsing and so on. Amazon also provides the feature that users can download or install other applications from Amazon store. For browsing, internet surfing you need to connect to your Kindle with Wireless network device but some people face trouble to connect with wireless network therefore company has created Www.Kindle.Com/Support, number 1-800-942-6509, which is toll free number for United States and Canada and easily accessible.
Within the past week (2nd week in May 2015) Amazon *pushed* a new operating system onto my Kindle Paperwhite. I connected to Wi-Fi in order to synchronize, download, etc. and I left it connected for a while and I went and did something else. When I returned, it had gone into the sleep mode because it was not being actively used. When I brought it out of sleep mode I saw there was a notice on the home screen about it having been updated and to go to the Cloud and download the 2nd Edition of the Operators Manual.
But, here's the rub - the 3G Whispernet wouldn't connect or, more precisely, it said it was connected but it wouldn't do or display anything but a blank white area. I got to thinking maybe it had something to do with the new operating system not having been rebooted. Always, it seems, new operating systems must be rebooted. So I used the Menu button > Settings > Menu button again > Restart. (Not *Reset Device* which is directly below so be sure not to touch it by mistake) and my Kindle shut down. I gave it about ten seconds and it didn't restart so I pushed the power button and it restarted and went through the boot screen and progress bar.
When it started up again it went to my PIN screen where I entered the PIN and it went to a Home Screen I'd never seen before. It consisted of a bunch of book covers with some adverts for recommended books at the bottom.Well, I found out by reading the new 2nd Edition Operator's manual that I downloaded from the Cloud that the *Cover View* is the default with this new O/S and, if one wants the old familiar *List View* back, to just touch the Menu icon (three horizontal bars in the upper right) and select *List View* which returned my Kindle to the Home Page I was used to.
There are several other changes as well so do download and read the 2nd Edition Operator's Manual. Oh, BTW, the 3G and Wi-Fi works again. I've got a sneaky suspicion that the new O/S needed the Restart in order to properly register the device so it could connect.
It may just not be mounting the storage. Connect the HDD to the tablet. Go into settings > storage and look for a mount option for usb storage. Click that. Then if you have a file explorer program such as ESExplorer you can browse the usb storage.
do one thing Turn Off Your Tablet
-> Hold Volume Button and Power button for 3 to 5 Secs
-> You will see a screen with android and triangle with exclamation mark
-> you will also see 4 lines of writing in blue.
-> use volume buttons to navigate to 3rd option, use home to select it ( warning this will erase your system data if need please take backup) (memory card is not affected)
-> now navigate to 1st option saying " reboot to system" use home key to select it.
I hope this will fix things
1) 4 gigabytes (Comes with 1 GB)
2) Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
3) Inefficient, but this is my opinion. For starters, it is an old processor, with little memory to support it. If you want to upgrade to the 4 GB capacity, you need a new license to Windows Vista Home Premium x64, so that adds cost. If you can't perform the upgrade yourself, that will add more cost. This is not a fast system.
4) Intel Core Duo T2350, though some were produced with a single-core variant, in either setup, this will not be a very fast system. Depending upon your use, you may want to shop for a newer system. This system would be good for note taking, but not graphic arts, and I would not expect a snappy startup time with Windows Vista. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but better to find out before spending the money. Always try a system out before buying it, because numbers can be deceiving when you are reading specifications.
I got this Hp TX2110us when it came up which i hardly use (bought at Fry's). But one time while using it Before Christmas, it jusy shuts down completely. I tried removing the battery and jusy use the AC adapter (has voltage) but no light at all anywhere. The power slide switch won't do a thing. Please anyone know aboutthis??
go to system bios (using F10 key on the start "Commanly") then press F9 for restore defaults, and insert the Bootable Vista DVD into the drive, it will solve your prob.. otherwise in bios mode make sure that all the drives (HDD & CD/DVD Rom) are properly installed.
