The menu is keep on appearing on the screen and its really annoying..How do I fix this?

I have also developed this random full stops when texting issue. its really annoying. The phone hasnt been near a drop of water

Reset it back to factory setting's most of the time that help's and fix's the problem

The software of the TV might have been corrupted somehow. A problem that may have come strait out of the factory.
Most of the New Sharp TVs have a software upgrade port. In your manual, it will describe on how to do it. Best to call the number on the software upgrade page and tell them what happening. That way, they can get you the right patch or software to fix the problem.

sounds like the logic board could be at fault here

I hate to call Philips liars but the logic of the situation speaks for itself. If it was a software fault then your tv would have done this from day one and I bet it just started to do it out of the blue. I think it could be a faulty component on the board where the buttons are located. Hope this helps.

Turn on the main and sub power switches.
Keep pressing the
* button until the message
“Please enter service password.” appears.
Input 9272 as the password and press the
[Start] key. (The password is fixed and cannot

[1. Normal Mode] key and the basic screen will appear

contact an expert on harware servicing, i think the memory of your latop have problem that is why it keeps on restarting.

have the keyboard replaced....that should fix the issue

I have the same problem. It seems like a virus to me, but my anti-virus doesn't find anything. I went to the main menu on the moniter and changed the display time to five seconds and locked the OSD display. Now all the appears is a smaller box showing a lock which goes out in five seconds. It is still annoying, but less intrusive then before. Hopefully, some one will determine a permanent fix for this problem.
