Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
Hi. Try to disable all start up items by clicking Start, then Run then type msconfig then Enter.
Go to the start up tab and click disable all button. Leave a checkmark on your antivirus box before closing and restarting the computer. See if it restarts normally. You might be having software conflicts causing the freezing of your screen.
With regards to the battery not charging, try to update your BIOS from this link:
Oh, Don't forget to select your type of Operating System and follow the instructions on how to flash your BIOS correctly.. ^_^
