Maybe the hardware has been damage. find a local electronics repair shop near you and let them fix that for you.

I also had this skipping problem and only noticed when I read this query that the skipping was linked to the display lighting. So I changed the display brightness to the lowest and to the option of "always on" so that the songs don't skip.

My GC-821 pink mp3 player says ''no file'' after I synced my music (from windows media player). But it plays the music back to me on windows media player. Help!

Do NOT open the "RECORD" folder and put your music in it.
Put you music in the folder that opens. the "RECORD" folder is NOT for you to put music into. It is for you to get your .WAV recordings out of.

Ohhhhh, now you get it!!!!

How do u make it stop moving when u play music?

While your iDog AMP'D is in "Listening Mode", hold down it's tail, and press it's nose. Make sure that you keep holding it's tail down the entire time, even after you pressed it's nose. You should see a spinning light pattern, that signifys that the motor movements are off. To turn them back on, either turn off/on your iDop AMP'D, or do the same thing but hold it's tail upwards. If your iDog AMP'D growls instead, that means it was not in "Listening Mode", and simply wait for it to start showing light patterns to music, then try again.

Hope this helped!

the screen display remains on if you're listening to music on the speakers. i've tried many things but couldn't overcome it. the only thing you could do is use the headphone to listen to the music. you can then put the device to sleep mode without interrupting the music.
