I first set-up my linksys wireless adapter on my cpu & it workedfine (plug & play) & got connection whenever I insert it.
Now, sometimes my wireless usb adapter loses its connection to therouter, then as a solution: I tried holding the button on routerlocated on its surface(the center button), I've done it once or twice& it worked, but now there is no connection....; the window promptsays I should hold that button for awhile and look for a LIGHT &press connect within 2 minutes(?!).
I want to ask: what LIGHT should I look out for? The prompt didn'tspecify which----is it on the wireless usb adapter or is it on therouter itself? And, when should I press the connect button on thescreen: after the LIGHT is on after the 2 minutes?

You can try to reset your router Reset the Linksys WRT150N wireless home router if you are experiencing connection issues or have forgotten your customized router login information. This procedure will restore the WRT150N back to its factory state. Instructions 1 Locate the "Reset" button on the back panel of the router. The button is situated to the right of the Ethernet ports and to the left of the power port. 2 Press and hold the "Reset" button. 3 Release the "Reset" button after approximately five seconds. The device resets
Tips & Warnings Use the Linksys WRT150N setup CD-ROM to run the setup wizard and reconfigure the router after the reset.
You cannot use a Wireless Access Point (WAP) to connect directly to your IPS's modem. A WAP does not provide the ability to share a single IP address on the internet like a router does.
Either return the WAP for a refund and buy a wireless router or buy an Ethernet wired-only router and plug the WAP into the LAN side of that router. You would then plug the WAN side of the Ethernet wired router into your modem.
There should be a reset button on the back of the router, hold it in with a pen or something thin and hold the button for 10 seconds and release to reset the router, the password with default back to the factory setting.
Your wireless router is prompting you for a password in order to log onto your network. If you do not remember your password, you can reset the routers' configuration by holding down the reset button on the back of the router, and you can then use the default user name and password to change the settings. HOWEVER, you will lose all of your network settings so if you have multiple devices connected via wireless, they will also have to be reset.
If you need help re-configuring your router, visit the router manufacturer's web page. There should be a tutorial to walk you through the process.

While holding the button, unplug the power adapter and continue holding the button for ten seconds plug the power adapter back in, and continue holding for another ten seconds just to be through. This should do a hard reset and your router will return to the default. For the default you have no username and your password is admin.
