-   yes, I have the same problem and I just called jasco Products company...they said it was a mis-print...the remote doesn't actually have a sleep timer on it!! Mine's going back to TARGET!!!-   Guest
-   I have the same issue with this remote. I bought it SPECIFICALLY because of the sleep timer - my original remote button for Sleep broke. I love this remote - I actually was able to program every component including DirectTV on it (there's always a need to keep one of the remotes it seems).
BUT, it doesn't help if the main purpose for the remote was for a sleep timer, and there is no sleep timer even mentioned anywhere in the manual! Urrrr.

I purchased a GE remote (model RM24918/RM84918) for my GE TV. I've programed the 4 dig code and was successful in turning the TV off, however once manually turned on again and press the Channel Up button, the remote does not respond. Is there a final step to execute so that the remote actually works?
