There is a contact in the upper left hand corner of the batt compartment. This has to touch the metal of the last batt.If your batts have paper around them scrape it off where it contacts that contact point.

If you are comfortable with wires then go to walmart and get a schumaker battery charger from the automotive department. either the Maintainer or the next one up I think ist is model 600 They are much better than the stock chargers because when the battery is full they automatically switch over to float mode so the battery doesn't get cooked. www.modifiedpowerwheels.com has lots of info on exactly what you would need to do. The chargers are 20 and 30 I believe and they can be used for other things like lawnmowers and car batteries if needed.

SOURCE: new bright 19.2v nicd battery problem

Don't throw away any NiCd power tool battery, Firestorm or Versapakbattery that does not hold a charge or does not give you the power youneed, you can get new life from your battery or device that containsNiCd batteries. icad batteries often die in such a way that they won't take a chargeand have zero voltage. This usually means they are shorted out bycrystal dendrite growth. You Can fix these shorted crystal dendrites by"Revitalization through Vaporization of Dendrites (RVD) Process".
You can get this guide from here

the battery isnt lasting because it needs to be fully discharged (drained) before it is recharged. (this is only for nicd batteries)

Which AA battery shall I buy for my digital camera? 1500? 1000? 2500?

Although you could use these, do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended.
Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries in electronic devices.
These batteries are only to be used in flash lights. The lower capacities suggest NiCd batterie. Also don't use these.
A set of new NiMH batteries, from 2000 to 2600 mAh with a good charger, will be fine.
Two things.
There are very fast chargers around. Don't invest in them. I payed 80 euro for a quick charger. Could charge 2700 mAh batteries in 15 minutes. The charger killed all my NiMH batteries I had (more than 40) It took me till the fifth or so died, before I realised it could be the charger. Since I stopped all my batteries one by one died and I had to replace them all
I now have some "fast" chargers that take 2 to 3 hours and the new batteries Can handle that.
Better buy a slower charger and some good batteries, than the other way around.
Second. Test the 2600 mAh batteries, if they fit.
To put more capacity in the "same" AA battery some brands made them slightly thicker. So it could be you can't get the largest ones in your camera.

I am wondering if anyone could help me please, i have bought some 2600 mAh AAA batteries for my video camera. I was wondering what kind of battery charger i would need to get to recharge these batteri

Any charger that will charge AAA batteries should do the trick. I have several 2600 mAh batteries, and use chargers from RayOVac, Nuon, and others without any problem.

You dont need anything very advanced. 2600 is a nice high capacity for Ni-MH AA's and 1100 is really high capacity for AAA's. Here is a little panasonic charger that would do the job just fine.

I have been use sony cycle Energy Rechargable batteries AA 2000mAh. They are properly charging. But now I'am purchased another sony cycle Energy Reechargable batteries AA 3000mAh. But they are no charging...

It's likely your charger. You probably own a "fast charger" but it's also probably designed for your lower mAh power batteries. The charger does not understand the power difference of your newer high-capacity battery, thus it is automatically stopping the charge before completion sensing something is wrong. You'll need to either purchase a newer charger, clearly stated capable of charging 3000mAh batteries. An alternative is to use an older "trickle" charger (one of those that charges at very low power slowly overnight). These don't automatically turn off when the battery reaches full charge, thus will charge your battery.

How long do I charge my boat

All depends on the size of the battery and the charger youre using. Standard batteries are 7.2v on these boats pictured. You will have to check the mah which is on side of battery, if its 1800mah and youre charger charges at the rate 500mah you should charge it for 4.3hrs.

Initial charging time

hi there
the first charge should be around 12 hours, this then teaches the battery its max load.
ignore the charger if tells you its charged after a couple of hours.
after the first charge use as normal.

hope this helps

I've gotta solution1.gif for you. I had the same problem and what I have found out is that if the headset4.gif does not go charged for an extended period of time, the battery needs to get a kick started so that it will accept a charge. In order to do this, you have to remove the blue plate with a small screwdriver first. Then with an extremely small torx bit take off 2 screws that were under the blue plate. Next remove the board from the shell, but not so much as to disconnect them from the soldered components.

Here's the tricky part. You will see the 150 MAH NiMH battery with a + and - post right on top of it. the connections are about 1/8" thick. You MUST HAVE a battery charger that can manipulate the current and voltage while charging. This would be like a peak charger for an R/C car of which I happen to have. The Jabra battery is NiMH and you should be able to set it to that instead of the NiCd. Set it at 150 MAH, and Delta Peak at Auto and in 10 minutes its charged and ready to go. After you put it all back together, you can then again charge it as you normally would with the AC charger or USB connection. I believe the majority of DOA headsets4.gif are due to being on the shelf for an extended period of time and not getting some charge.....eh it happens!
