Riccar vacume lite for bag is on when bag is not full

sometimes that can happen if the pores in the bag are clogged, as might happen if you have been vacuuming very fine dust like wallboard dust. this means that the bag might be functionally full, even though it still appears un-full. also, check the hose for a clog, because that can also give a false indication light.

The heat sinc is full of dust need t know how to get at it need manual

If the laptop has a vent on the bottom of the laptop then you may be able to remove this panel to get access to the heatsink and fan.
If the vents are on the back or on the side of the laptop then to get access to the fan and heatsink you need to remove the keyboard.
You may be able to get a copy of a manual from the Acer WEB site.

Toshiba Satellite Laptop M205-S4805 gets overheated and shuts down

This can happen when the air vents are blocked by dust or similar particles, it can also occur if the fan is not running to the full capacity. The best you can do is to seek an expert advice as trying to open the casing without proper knowledge has a risk of damaging the system.

Acre aspire making a Loud noise and shaking. !

One of two things is happening first thing it maybe is your hard drive is dieing on you.Is it really slow on start up is it shutting down on you these are some things that may be happening. If that is the case then its time for a new hard drive. The only other thing it could be is the cooling fan is full of dust and has become unbalanced. If that is the case it would start up fine but performance would decrease at a fast rate, also you might experience shut down.In that case you may have to by a can of air and blow out the dust.If you have any questions just let me know.

My laptop will just turn it self off, at first i thought it was a heat problem but it hasnt been on for a full day and it just stops working not warning or anything,

This happened to my laptop.

-I believe this has nothing to do with the software of virus or anything.
-this happens when the fan is not working properly, probably the fan is covered with pack of dust.
-If not this has something to do with power.

Anything that has nothing to do with you're software would be better if you let some technicians check it.

Hi we have a toshiba laptop model number psmc6a-003q00s. what's happening is the unit is over heating and cuts out having to wait to cool down and restart the laptop. sometime the fan kicks in but does...

Hi Danial and Gin a,
Your right! It IS Overheating. Usually this happens by using a laptop on a bed or soft surface that doesn't allow the heat to escape from underneath the machine. If that is the case. Use a desk or table top to place it on. Here is what can happen. It can keep overheating and then after it cools down one day, it may be finished and not recover. So it is a serious matter to correct as fast as possible. Laptop repairs can be quite expensive.
Cleaning out the fan is an excellent idea. I would go down to your local Walmart, or computer store and buy a bottle of compressed air type cleaner for computers. I would blow the dust out of the fan. The third thing I would do is purchase a laptop cooling device that sits under the machine and helps cool it with its own fans. If you do this you should come out fine.
If you have been using the machine on a soft surface, putting it on a hard surface and blowing it out may be all that is necessary. Good luck,
Best Regards, Mark

HP Pavilion DV6700 won't boot

Possibly overheating? As you say that when you press and of the F-Key option nothing is happening, and also the fan is running at full power, if the fan is louder than usual, then it could be overheating in the air vents which you can find either at the sides, back, front and underneath the laptop, try getting the compressed air, and giving the air vents a blast to get all dust out. Or a vacuum. Do it whilst laptop is turned off though!

My Lap-top fan is allways on the full speed. Eaven when i've just turned it on. The fan actually causes the Lap-top to overheat. What should I do ??? My computer is Hp G7000.

There clearly is a problem with the air flow for cooling the radiator.
First, make sure you don't put your laptop on any soft surfaces, like your bed for example - soft underlay will press against the bottom of the case, obstructing the air intake grill.
Second, if it still happens on a hard surface (try placing the laptop on two pencils, to elevate it even more), then your air duct and the radiator itself may be clogged with dust and lint. You will need compressed air to blow away the stuff. Turn machine off, and blow into the air outlet grill, located on the side or rear of the case until all dust comes out.

Do faulty chipsets on motherboards happen over time or are they a fault which will have been there from the start?

Most electronic chips that fail, will fail either when they are first used, or within 90 days. Failues after this are ususally caused by overheating which is usually caused by a bad fan or by too much dust inside the pc. I vacuum out the inside of my pc twice a year (when I change my clocks).
