try to scrape the dark residue of with a wooden tool that is long enough to reach the discolored button as long as there is small bit of silver showing the current will get through .

Canon rebel xsi lcd is faded and doesn't shut off

To eliminate the chance of the screen actually being damaged due to the camera being dropped, here's a little test you can do? Click on the MENU button and scroll to the 5th icon, the first setting you should see is LCD Brightness. Look at the scale and make sure the little top white arrow is in the middle, that setting should give you a normal brightness for the screen, if it is towards the left side that would dim your screen, move it to the middle using the side buttons around the main SET button. If the little white arrow is already set in the middle, then you screen might be damaged after all? Theres not other setting for the LCD brightness other than that one.
As for it not shutting off, do you mean the camera doesn't shut off or the screen doesn't shut off after a few minutes?

Bad LED Screen

Yes the LCD screen can be repaired but this camera is a low cost camera but it may not be worth getting it repaired.
Take the camera to a digital camera repairer for a quote then you can decide whether to get it repaired or buy a new camera.

Coffee maker not frothing milk

The tube on the "ball assembly" which connects to the "milk" tank may be missing an O-ring. If this O-ring is missing, the steam will only siphon a little bit of milk because there is no seal. If it is working properly, the siphon can fill be expected to fill a cup in about 30 -60 seconds.

The battery botttom came off i have it reattached but now my camera wont turn on...not parts are broken

It sounds like the metal plate at the bottom of the cover is loose or missing. If it is missing then just use a little bit of sheet metal, preferably from a tin can or something with similar good conductivity.
If the metal plate is there, then it may just be loose, try adjusting that little metal plate and see if it works after that, If It doesn't work then please post a picture of the camera where the bottom has come off and a picture of the bottom itself and I'll try to investigate further.
Hope this helps :D

My lens has a black dot in the middle, how do i get that off

yes this works for me and all of my electronic screens. add a little bit of water to some rubbing alcohol and wipe the screen to clean it safely and quickly. it does a good job of getting off hard-to-remove smudges. if that doesn't work, you may have to invest around $20 in a camera cleaning solution kit from Wal-Mart or a photo store.

My camera is not working!

This may sound like an unusual solution, but it has worked in the past. Get a can of compressed air. It's the type used to clean keyboards and such. Remove the battery and blow some air in there. Next blow air all around the lens, but not on the lens itself. Sometimes, a little bit of dust or dirt gets in there and messes with the mechanics of the operation or prevents a good battery connection. Let me know.

Camera has a black screen when turned on

In some cases there are only oxidized battery contacts, to treat with a little bit sillicon grease on the battery contacts gives a long lasting protect against. moist., otherwise there could bad soldering but in practice i have never on camera,s have problems with it BUT another suggestion are the little motors to operate the diaphragm and zoom mechanic can be the problem if its hanging and if one of the motors is hanging there could be a miss timing and then the electronical protection turns it off off. was my first Samsung experience with a camcorder of the brand 23 years ago there could be a dirty mode select switch or little microswitch on it, but in most cases the batteries.

Battery Problem

I've never had that problem, all I can suggest would be to fiddle with the contacts in the grip, or put a folded bit of paper behind the battery before you put on the little door to push it in further.
