Question about Creative Labs Zen Stone Plus MP3 Player
Yes often the simple act of plugging IN & OUT will "Spike" them. That is why really we all should use the USB's "Add/Remove hardware safely" But often one doesn't and that may be OK but one time in a hundred it may get spiked and that's all it take, When one uses remove hardware, the Power is switched OFF to that port, so as to minimise this happening, note i said minimise, as there can also be a static charge as well, and this will do the same. So we must be very careful with the handling of our flash drives and the like. Hope that helps explain things.
