IPhone won't connect to wifi

Under Settings- General - Network, I turned off "Enable 3G", waited a few seconds and wifi came on. I turned on the "Enable 3G" and it still kept my wifi connection.

Go to router's security which is set to WPA2, and re-set it to WPA2, changed the password, removed the network from my iphone and then reselected it with the new password.

Try rebooting your router, or re- setting the security of the router. Also, see if there is a firmware upgrade available for the router.

Download the latest firmware for your router, you can go to the routers manufacture website or there is usually a link within the routers settings. (if you have the routers software installed on your computer, you can access the settings and software update link)

If all else fails, you can reset the router, this different than simply restarting it. You will need a pin or paperclip to press the reset button usually found on the back or sometimes on the bottom of router.
PLEASE NOTE: Resetting the router will delete all current settings including securtiy and reset them to their factory default settings.

But this will isloate any issues that may be associated with your current settings including security. You can reconfigure your router with the settings you perfer after determining that the issue is with the router or not.

I want to use my wifi router D-link dir-600 for internet wifi. After I set everything according to manual guide, I can detect the wifi signal, eventhough I have enable the wifi in the router.

Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router'swireless settings configured ie SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption key and also thewireless cards in all the laptops and or computers needs to be configured withthese router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers cancommunicate with your wireless router. For Internet access you need to connect your DSL or cable modem to the WAN/Internet port on the D-Link.

Wi-fi connection problem

There are 2 ways to approach your problem.
  1. Un-protect your wifi connection by removing the password. This is risky since other wifi gadgets can readily connect to your network.
  2. Configure your Samsung phone to connect to your password-protected wifi. Make sure that the wifi protocol of your phone matches that of your wifi router. Example, make sure to set WPA or WPA2 on both device.

Need WPA2 wifi connection to my Linksys with Dell D600

The WPA settings on your wireless card must be the same as the setting you configured on your wireless router. This allows your wireless card to communicate with the wireless router.

No data over WPA2 WiFi

A few things to try if havent all ready. Make sure your other wifi devices can connect to internet in this network. Toggle airplane mode 15 seconds. go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings. In wifi settings join other network and manually enter SSID and wpa2 password, rather than trying to connect automatically. Turn ask to join networks off if you have to. Make sure the Wifi symbol is next to AT&T on top of phone. Open safari. If you are able to connect to router but not internet in safari. Check your Dns settings on iphone, if iphone is not resolving dns, make sure your router is configured properly.
