Check the drain hoses for clogs and kinks then inspect the pump impeller and the pump if it is working. Clean the pump filter if there's any. The machine cannot advance to the rinse or spin cycle if water is not drained completely due to poorly working drain system.

The next thing to check is the door lock and switch assembly. The washer will not advance to the rinse or spin cycle when the door is not locked due to a faulty door lock and switch assembly as a safety feature to prevent injury should the door is opened accidentally during the high speed spin. Please indicate the make and the exact model number of the washer for further and precise advice. Oko 72630. Why is it stuck on rinse cycle?

Could be several reasons:
- Selected the "Night cycle" program (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: too much noise in the spin cycle)
- Set to the "Rinse hold" (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: wrinkles on the clothes)

According to your description I think that this is not a failure otherwise error E20 will be appears on display.

Once the washing programme has come to an end, END illuminates on the programme progress display.
If RINSE HOLD was selected, the display beside the START/ PAUSE button flashes.
1. After a rinse hold, the water must first be pumped out:
- Either press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun according to the completed programme;
After the START/PAUSE button is pressed again, the spin speed can still also be changed during spinning), or
- Turn the programme selector to PUMP OUT and press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out without spinning),or
- Turn the programme selector to SPIN or SHORT SPIN and press theSTART/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun or gently spun).
At the end of this programme step, the END indicator will illuminate.
2. Open the door.
As soon as the DOOR indicator lights up green, the door can be opened.

For some reason my GE GBVH6260 washer cycles are getting hung up on either the wash or rinse cycle. Some days it will stay stuck in the wash cycle & some days it will stay stuck in the rinse cycle for...

Most likely its your water inlet valve..(cold side is not letting water in). Very common problem that usually manifests during rinse cycle since rinse uses always cold water.

Wash machine sometimes gets stuck on rinse cycle & dryer not dry

Sounds like the drain hose for the washer is too far down in the stand pipe at the wall causing a siphon effect, try raising drain hose a little. The dryer sounds like the vent line from back of dryer too wall is pinched causing an air flow obstruction. Hope this helps.

Matayg Atlantis Washing Machine gets stuck in the Rinse Cycle and will continue to rinse for hours.

This is the sign of a bad timer. It is not sensing how long it has been in the cycle. The timer is not advancing. Replace the timer.
