Question about Nintendo Wii Console

I bought a third wii remote and separate battery and sync'd all my wii remotes... that all work with regular AA batteries, but none of them work with the rechargeable batteries. My original two remotes worked before this, but I tried the new battery (off brand that Best Buy guy said would work) in the remotes to see if it was the remote or the battery,

Thanks would it cause my existing Wii remotes to also only work with AA batteries? All three of my remotes now only work with AA batteries that were charged... even my good rechargeable batteries no longer work once I tested them in the new remote and tested the new battery in the old remotes. The Best Buy guy said they are all interchangeable, but I noticed on the back of the battery the old ones were 3.7V and the new one was 2.4V.

I haven't played my wii in a while and have just plugged it all in and my controllers are not working. They don't seem to be charging in the docking station, their individual docks are not lighting up...

Yes they should light up blue when they are charging.
Double check and make sure your docking station is still plugged in and turned on.

Most Docking stations are third party accessories, meaning, they were not manufactured by Nintendo. Some of them do not work very well.

If all else fails, remove the rechargeable battery pack from the Wii Remote and put regular AA batteries inside of it. The Wii Remote should work just fine.

Personally, I prefer to use rechargeable AA batteries rather than charging packs or docking stations. The charge packs/docking stations just never seem to work as well as they're supposed to. The rechargeable AA's work great and they're much more versatile since they're not limited to use in the Wii.

I have 3 wii remotes was using one that had batteries it died so i replaced all remotes with new batteries and now none of them will sync or work they just turn off right away

After replacing the batteries, you may have to do a hard sync by pressing the sync button beside the SD slot on the Wii and the sync button on the back of the Wiimote underneath the battery cover. Both buttons are a kind of dark reddish-brown colour.

How to play 2 player plz help .we pluged in both keyboards but thy pic up as one.thanx

Here's how:

1. Remove the second Wii Remote's battery cover and insert two AA batteries into the device.
2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Push and release the console's "SYNC" button.
3. Push and release the "SYNC" button below the Wii Remote's batteries.
4. Wait for the Wii Remote LED to stop blinking.
5. Replace the Wii Remote battery cover.
6. Snap the Wii Remote into the back of the second Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller for Wii. Your second guitar will then use your Wii Remote's power and synchronization to the console and respond to Guitar Hero.

Hope this helps!

Hello there

Hold the Wii Remote upside-down with the buttons facing downward.

Tap the remote firmly against the palm of your hand three times to remove any dust sitting between the buttons and the electronic circuit board inside the remote.

Turn the remote upright and press one of the buttons. If the problem continues, Open your Wii Remote's battery door

Check that your Wii Remote contains two new "AA" batteries or a charged battery pack. Check that no corrosion is present on the battery's metal elements/connectors.

Use a cotton swab to clean the remote's battery element/connectors if corrosion is present.

Check that the Sensor Bar cable is inserted firmly into the back of your Wii gaming system. The Sensor Bar needs to be centered above or below your television so the Wii Remote can transmit signals to the gaming system.

Stand three feet away from the Wii gaming system/Sensor Bar.

Aim the remote and press any button to test the device.

If the remote is not working, stand five to 10 feet away from the gaming system and try the device. The Wii Remote works best three to 10 feet away from the gaming system/Sensor Bar.

Move any objects blocking the signal from the remote to the gaming system/Sensor bar--candles, other remote controls (TV/cable box) and wireless computer devices/cellular phones.

Also, if any sunlight is coming in through a window, close the curtains or blinds to keep the light from interfering with the remote's signal.

Turn off and unplug your Wii gaming system. Leave the unit unplugged for one minute. Plug the gaming system back in.

If the remote still aint working;

Turn the Wii system on. Press and hold the red "SYNC" button for 15 seconds when the "Health and Safety" screen appears on your television. The "SYNC" button is behind the small door on the front of your Wii unit.

Release the "SYNC" button. Remove the battery cover and batteries/battery pack from the back of your Wii Remote.

Press and release the red button located under the battery compartment. The blue lights on the front of the remote will blink

Press and release the "SYNC" button on the front of your Wii gaming system. The "Player" light on the gaming system stops blinking and stays on, the resetting process is complete

Wii controler doesnt sync

Are the batteries in your Wii Remote dead? You will need to replace them. Use 2 AA size batteries.

Already tried this? The batteries could be inserted the wrong way. Look closely at the battery slots. You should see 2 battery icons. Look at the - and +, and insert them like it says in the icon.

That doesn't seem right, i have rechargeable battery packs for my remotes, it works fine for me, maybe you might be overcharging them, it could be a possibility.

Wii remote not working.

Get some regular alkaline AA batteries and try your Wii Remote using them -- the blue lights on the Wii remote should light up and register with the Wii console (this is via wireless / bluetooth) -- As for the sensor bar, it is really only an infra red emitter - so if you have it properly connected to your Wii, the Wii Remote (with working batteries) can sense where it is by "seeing" the lights emitted from your sensor bar.

If the alkaline batteries work - You may need to get some new NiMH AA batteries to use in your charger - changers are usually third party devices; Nintendo does not ship charging stations with the Wii.

If the Wii remote appears to be working (blue lights and all) and your sensor bar is properly connected, you may have a dirty or damaged IR port. First clean the top of the Wii remote, just to make sure. If it still does not work, borrow a friends Wii Remote and check to see if it works with your system. If you do everything above and your Wii remote does not work while a seperate one does, the problem is most likely a broken Wii remote.

Brand New Wii Remote not working

tracey.....take the battery cover off the back of the remote....then go to the game system cons and open the front flap to the left of the cd slot (find the red sync button on the cons......press and hold the red sync button next to the batteries on the remote......now just press the button on the game system (do not hold button on the cons.)....watch the remote led lights on the bottom....when they are done blinking there should be a light left on (if this is the second cotroller, it should be the second light from the left that is on).
