The beer has gone inside the camera and has stuffed it up so the only thing you can do is get it repaired but i thinkgetting it repaired may cost the same price you btought the camera if it is the same price charge the person that dropped beer on it and get a new one so good luck :) and please rate this solution... thanks cya...

Canon EOS rebel T1i says no card

There are a few possibilities, A the pins where the card inserts into the camera are damaged, or you have 2 dud cards borrow another you know works. And also insert the card that does not work and connect camera to computer and see if it connects. If nothing works its back to Mrs Canon for repairs.

Have you tried pullimg yhe memory chip ad batteries and reloading them. And if camera is that new it should still be under warranty take it back to where you purchased it, dont tell them you dropped it and they should help you or replace the camera.

I have tried all of the suggested items even changing the batteries to the new Energizer Lithium batteries and I still have a dead camera. Do you have any more suggestions that I may try? Thank You

It sounds as if you are addressing a specific person with this problem have you chatted with someone about this problem before? No matter I guess. New rechargeable batteries "normally" require recharging when you first buy them for about 2 hours some more. There are new types that retain 80% of their charge for up to a year so you sort of need to know if the battery has power in it before installing in the camera. What I do is test them but I have the ways and means of doing this, what you can do is put the batteries in a small flash light and turn it on. If it's a bright white light they are good a dim amber is poor. Another thing is the correct position of the battery in the chamber if one is in wrong then the camera will not work. Another thing to look for is to see if the battery contacts are corroded. It might appear as a white powder or the contact could be blackened. if this is the case those contacts need to be cleaned and cleaned well be fore contact can be reestablished again. Lots to look for but all this you can do yourself without a repair person.

My new olympus stylus 850sw is not working. The flash settings do not seem to work, and all the pictures turn out either really dark, or a bright white screen. I've altered all the settings, and nothing is...

You could have a problem with the board of the camera. I hope you did not drop the camera. If what you say is happening try to restart the computer of the camera by removing the main battery. It also has a reserve battery and I suggest you remove that too. In about an hour put the batteries back and see if the camera has reset itself. If it does not work I hope you applied for the extended warranty and just send it back to the camera shop if they handle it or directly to Olympus. Good Luck

I have a kodak easyshare c533 camera and it won't turn on. I tried new batteries but all it does is flash the green light. Any ways to fix this?

Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!

Camera wont come on

Since it is dropped there is a strong chance that it might be F.. But. Here are the steps for no power problems: 1. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera. Please make sure that you are installing a fresh/ fully charged battery c. Turn the camera on. 2. Without the memory card, turn your camera on. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty) 3. Please test with the a different battery If you do not have access to another battery Try these steps instead: Please take the battery out of the camera. b. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the battery. If you camera doesn?t switch on you will need to order a no power repair with KODAK or a new cable.

Screen white

APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS CAMERA.
The internal contact to the LCD screen is loose. Grab the camera using both hands with thumb and index fingers on bottom corners. (usually the left bottom corner) Squeeze hard! Voila! You will be doing this occaisonally as it drops out.

I think I've solved the same problem on a Finepix A350. My shutter has been sticking for months now on powerup. I brushed all round the periphery of the shutter with a perfectly clean, small, camel hair brush and now it operates perfectly! So maybe the answer is to keep a new brush specially for this. Hope this works for you! I certainly would not try dropping the camera as someone suggested.

Red light in front :[[[

I had a similar situation with two of my C530's, one would only come on with the front red light (above the lens) flashing twice and then staying on solid red (regardless of the dial position). The other would turn on, but the LCD display would turn almost white and all pictures would be white.

Make sure you have good batteries, remove them from the camera, put them back in (make sure the dial is in OFF position before you insert the batteries) and with one finger put pressure on the top of the camera between the dial and viewfinder. Don't use excessive force, as not to crack the case, but put some pressure on it and as your squeezing it, turn the camera ON (Auto, Movie or View). This worked for both of my cameras, on one I have to do this one once in a while, the other I'll be taking apart to find out what's going on under the case.
