Hi
After you changed the batteries did you resync the mouse and keyboard with the receiver?

unhook the receiver and hook it back up to the computer and see if the computer redetects it. Either way if the light comes on try to sync it again with the keyboard and mouse. If it doesn't sync up with both the keyboard and mouse then the receiver is bad, if it syncs up with the mouse and its working and the keyboard but the keyboard is still not working, then the keyboard is defective and would need to be replaced.

Does the mouse and/or keyboard have a "connect" button on the bottom of either? Try restarting your PC, then, if you have installed new batteries, and the mouse/keyboard is still not connected, try the "Connect" button if any.

My computer recognizes the mouse, and connects to it, but the mouse doesn't work. It is flashing green then red on the battery indicator.

I had the same problem and it turned out that it had nothing to do with the batteries.

Go to the bluetooth indicator on your computer and disable the device. Then restart your computer.

When the computer is restarted set the mouse into "discoverable mode" which is the flashing red/green thing and it should find your computer.

This worked for me!

Stoped functioning

Normal 0 Turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.
If your having trouble with the mouse also,
turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps. Bud

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again
