Question about LG 37LG30 37 in. LCD HDTV
My 32LG70 won't turn on. Plug it in and the red light comes on, but it doesn't actually get a picture. It tries, and you can hear a faint click each time it tries, but then the blue light comes on but the screen remains black after about 4 attempts by the tv to turn on.
Try resoldering everything back onto the power board. They become brittle sometimes.
That doesn't do it then buy a cheap cap meter off ebay for around a tenner and firstly pull off every single electrolytic then ceramic capacitor and test.
Very easy to test, look on YouTube for videos.
Replace faulty&marginal caps and your problem should be gone.Remember m8,take your time, don't rush these things.
